                Lagos state Task Force on Environmental and Special Offences Unit claimed they impounded the okada's {bike's} because they were plying certain routes in the state which they are banned from plying.Some okada's were arrested yesterday at Iju-Ishaga while today tuesday most of the bike riders abandoned their bikes and took to their heels to avoid being arrested and prosecuted.Task force Chairman Mr Bayo Sulaiman said ''Residents in Lagos have been complaining that okada riders were back in full force plying prohibited routes and obstructing traffic in the area.During a raid on Computer village Ikeja on monday evening,it was discovered that many of the traders were back on the streets hawking their wares once again.Lots of people believed that we have relaxed in enforcement but we did not.We will ensure that places like Oshodi and Obalende that have been trading and street hawking are well policed so that the traders and area boys {mi...

                Wizkid was arrested,hand cuffed from his Nairobi Crown Plaza hotel on saturday afternoon and was taken to Capital Hill Police Station.He was arrested because he was smoking weed inside the hotel in which smoking is prohibited.The Hotel frount officer asked him why he was smoking before the two got into a heated argument attracting security officers who ended up calling the police to arrest him.His new girlfriend also from Kenya Victoria Kimani,followed him to the police station.The Hotel had already charged him with SH50,000 smoking penalty,which he paid through his credit card.After Wizkid was interrogated by the police,few hours later,he flew back to Lagos Nigeria.More photos below.                                                               

            According to sources,the U.S military has started isolating soldiers returning from an Ebola response mission in West Africa even when they show no sign of the virus and Australia became the first rich nation to impose a visa ban on the affected countries amid global anxiety about the spread of Ebola virus.The latest measures,along with decisions by some U.S states to impose mandatory quarantines on health workers returning home from treating Ebola victims in West Africa ,have been condemned by health authorities and the United Nations as extreme.
