 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

          Scott Disick was pictured for the first time after news broke that his father Jeffrey had died,less than three months after the passing of his mother Bonnie.Scott was supported by his long term love Kourtney Kardashian,mother of two children Mason and Penelope.The pair were on their way reported that Jeffrey had died last week.The cause of death has not been revealed,but it comes after his wife Bonnie tragically passing away on October 28,following a long illness.Both of scoth's parents were 63 at the time of their deaths.

OKWUOKEI PETER,A TAXI DRIVER,ARRESTED FOR HARD DRUGS HIDDEN IN A PALM OIL BOTTLES.

                                               NDLEA,National Drug Law Enforcement Agency,made these discovery during screening of cargoes on a south African Airlines flight at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos,where they seized 9.2 kilogrammes of methamphetamine hidden inside palm oil.The drug was being exported to south Africa.A taxi driver,named Okwuokei Peter who brought the consignment has been apprehended by anti-narcotic officials,NDLEA.The suspect said that he was sending the drug to his regular passenger.He said ''one of my regular passengers asked me to send the gallon of oil to him.I thought i was doing him a favour but little did i know that it will land me in a big trouble.The suspect who hails from Delta state,lives in Lagos with his wife and four children.

HIGH COURT BOMBED IN PORT-HARCOURT.

            High court in Port Harcourt.Ahoada East high,the capital of Rivers state in Southern Nigeria was razed today after a bomb explosion this morning.The bombers are yet to be identified.The bombed court belongs to Justice CN Wali,the judge who on 16 December last year made an interim order barring Evans Bipi,a member of the House of Assembly,from parading himself as the speaker of the house.Bipi has been a contender for the position of speaker of the Assembly,since an aborted attempt in November to unseat the authentic speaker,Amachree.According to reports from Port Harcourt,the court was billed to continue the case today,when it was bombed.The PDP stated that it's legal team from Abuja and Lagos,had arrived the court premises only to discover it had been bomb.The ruling APC has accused the PDP for the bombing saying ''we are aware that the present PDP in  Rivers state under  chief Wike is violence prone but we wish to reiterate that no amount of violence and intimi
