 STATEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE   ENGINEERS FAROUK AHMED, GBENGA KOMOLAFE RESIGN, PRESIDENT TINUBU NOMINATES SUCCESSORS TO THE SENATE FOR APPROVAL President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has asked the Senate to approve the nominations of two new chief executives for the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) and the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC).   The requests followed the resignation of Engineer Farouk Ahmed of the NMDPRA and Gbenga Komolafe of the NUPRC. Both officials were appointed in 2021 by former President Buhari to lead the two regulatory agencies created by the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA).   To fill these positions, President Tinubu has written to the Senate, requesting expedited confirmation of Oritsemeyiwa Amanorisewo Eyesan as CEO of NUPRC and Engineer Saidu Aliyu Mohammed as CEO of NMDPRA.   The two nominees are seasoned professionals in the oil and gas industry.   Eyesan, a graduate of Economics f...

1578 CHRISTIAN SKELETONS,FOUND UNDER THE STREETS OF ROME.

            The labyrinthine structure revealed,containing many skeletons of early christian martyrs called saints because of their alleged miracles performed by them or their mission to support and spread christianity.The location was renamed the Catacomb saints and many of the skeletons were sent across Europe mainly Germany as a substitute for all the rekics that got damaged or stolen during the protestant reformation.When the skeletons reached their designated countries,they were clothed with precious jewels and then exhibited inside churches serving as a reminder of death and therefore to the necessity to devote one's life to God.These pictures were taken by Paul Koudounaris who tavelled round the continent to find out what was left of the skeletons.More photos below.                                                     ...

SPACESHIP CRUSHED HARRISON FORD ON SET OF THE NEW STAR WARS.

                                                                                71 years old Harrison Ford was airlifted yesterday to the hospital after a space ship crushed his ankle in an accident on the set of the latest Star Wars film.He clutched his chest in pain as crew members rushed to free him from underneath the space ship.He was then stretched off set and flown to the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford,which specializies in fractires.Producers are now hastly rescheduling shoots to allow for what could be a lengthy absence for Harrison Ford.More photos below.

           As per the performance between Jennifer Lopez and Brazilian pop singer Claudia Leitte was a bit funny because you will notice the obvious competition between the two of them.The competition between the two of them were so much that there was an obvious booting shaking competition.Jennifer Lopez used all her muscles to dance but at the end i came to a conclusion that,the performance was so noisy because they both tried so hard to outshine the other,While Pitbull was just minding his business.What do you think?.More photos below.

                According to sources,ex president of Nigeria Olusegun Obasanjo said to BBC Hausa that ''i believe that some of them will never return.We will still be hearing about them many years from now.If you get all of them back,i will consider it a near miracle.Do you think they will hold all of them together uptill now?''.What do you think about his statement?,don't you think he would have waited untill after they rescue the girls before making such statement because of the state of health of the missing girls children?

               We regret to announce the death of Kefee,who gave up the ghost early hours of today friday June 13 2014 in a U.S hospital.She passed away after a long coma.Sources claimed she woke up and was asking after everybody.We are only humans lord,you give and you taketh.She has contributed so much to the music industry singing in her native language.She will always be remembered in our heart.Rest in peace Branama Queen.
