The makers of the said advertisement even went ahead to list some leaders and members of our party, including Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Governor Aminu Bello Tambuwal of Sokoto State, former Senate President Bukola Saraki, the Deputy National Chairman, North of the PDP, Senator Suleiman Nazif among others, as speakers in the supposed event, in a bid to bestow a semblance of legitimacy to the scheme.   His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed today inspected the on-going renovation and expansion of the Bauchi Government House. The project will according to the Governor create a modern and functional Government House. Some of the projects were initiated during Governor Deba and abandoned by the previous administrations. Governor Bala said his administration is determined to modernizing not only the State Capital but executing projects that will adorn the entire state. He added that Bauchi State under his watch will be the mirror of the North East promising to ensure effective implementation of all the awarded as well as abandoned projects.   Borno Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum has approved and released N22,500,000 for payment of scholarship to 75 citizens of Borno State in law schools. Commissioner for Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Dr. Babagana Mustapha Mallambe who announced this in a statement on Monday, The Commissioner disclosed that payments to students have already began with each been paid N300,000. Recalled, Governor Zulum had in January approved the release of N624m been paid to over 23,776 indigens of Borno in 49 tertiary institution across the country. Also in in January, Governor Zulum approved financial support to resident doctors who are indigens of Borno state found in different parts of Nigeria.

  Master Edeani Izuchukwu, a student of Air Force Comprehensive School (AFCS) Agbani, Enugu State has emerged winner of the just concluded National Science Competitive Examination where he was awarded the “774 Young Nigerian Scientists Presidential Award”. The competition is organised annually by the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology and opened to all secondary schools nationwide. Izuchukwu, a Senior Secondary 3 student representing Enugu State, came first at the grand finale of the competitive examination held on 14 March 2021 in Abuja. He emerged the Best Overall among several other students from the 36 States of the Federation including the Federal Capital Territory.
