EFCC TASKFORCE ARRESTS 34 SUSPECTED CURRENCY SPECULATORS IN ABUJA. (PHOTOS). #PRESS RELEASE.

 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

                                    Today thursday,66 year old Caitlyn Jenner was named one of the Women of the year by Glamour magazine.Also on the list are Reese Witherspoon,Victoria Beckham and other well known  women.They will be honoured at the Glamour 25th Anniversary Women of the Year Awards.In the current issue in the magazine that featured Reese Witherspoon on the cover of the magazine,Caitlyn Jenner said ''I am just excited about the future for the first time in a long long time.And that is a nice feeling to have....To be honest with you,if the worst thing in the world that happens to you is you are trans,you've got it made''.More photos below.                                                                                                                                                        

BOKO HARAM FLAUNTS IT'S ROCKET FACTORY TODAY,IN NEW RELEASED PHOTOS.

             In new pictures,Islamist sect Boko Haram released some photos today of it's rocket making factory while carefully excluding the location.The photos were released today on twitter via a handle ''Terror Monitor''.This is very serious if Boko Haram can have a Rocket factory instead of importing,so what kind of humans are we dealing with?.At this point i am scared.More photos below.                                                                                            

THE TRUCK THAT FELL EARLIER TODAY IN OSHODI IS CAUSING HEAVY TRAFFIC.

                          I just got a report that a truck that fell earlier today at Oshodi is causing very heavy traffic and making life very unbearable for people this evening in which i thought by now,they would have moved the truck.Thank God the truck did not fall on any vehicle when it fell but when it fell earlier today,vehicles were being diverted to the Osodi service lanes.More photos below.                                                                                                                

THE UNITED NATIONS SECURITY COUNCIL,IS CONCERNED OVER THE DOZENS OF DEATH IN BURUNDI.

                           The United Nations Security Council is concern over the death of more than a dozen people,who were killed in clashes in Burundi on Monday and Tuesday,a violence linked to the disputed third term of President Pierre Nkurunziza.Nkurunziza won for the third time in July 2015 polls in Burundi but tensions have remained high ever since then and at least 198 people have been killed since April when he announced his re-run.The U.N Security Council yesterday wednesday expressed deep concern about the growing insecurity ad the continued rise in violence.In a French drafted statement,the UN strongly condemned human rights abuses and unlawful violence by security forces and militias and pledged to seek accountability for such acts.Activists and officials have reported a number of apparently targeted killings,while residents in opposition strongholds in the capital Bujumbura report frequent shootings and blasts.One more photo below.                                      

PROF.MAHMOOD YAKUBU,CONFIRMED AS THE NEW INEC CHAIRMAN BY THE SENATE.

                                                  According to sources,the Senate has confirmed the appointment of Professor Mahmood Yakubu as INEC {Independent National Electoral Commission} chairman and successor of Professor Attahiru Jega after he was screened in the upper chambers.Yakubu who answered all questions posed at him,stated that he would not be intimidated in the discharge of his activities as INEC Chairman.He was aked if he can withstabd any pressure,intimidation to announce the winner of the election even if it does not favour the Federal Government who appointed him,he replied that ''He would serve Nigeria and will do so without fear''.Other people that were confirmed and who are members of INEC are Adedeji Solomon Shoyobi {Commissioner},Dr Muhammed Mustapha Lekki {Commissioner},Hajia Amina Zakari {Commissioner},Dr Anthonia Taiye Okosi {Commissioner} and Alhaji Baba Shettima Arfo {Commissioner}.One more photo below.
