  Indian billionaire Gautam Adani charged in US for alleged bribery, fraud Gautam Adani, the chair of Indian conglomerate Adani Group and one of the world’s richest people, whose business empire extends from ports and airports to renewable energy,has been indicted in New York over an alleged multibillion-dollar fraud scheme, United States prosecutors have said. The authorities on Wednesday charged Adani and two other executives at Adani Green Energy, his nephew Sagar Adani and Vneet Jaain, with agreeing between 2020 and 2024 to pay more than $250m in bribes to Indian government officials to obtain solar energy supply contracts expected to yield $2bn in profits. Prosecutors said the renewable energy company also raised more than $3bn in loans and bonds during this period based on false and misleading statements.                           According to sources,pih's heart may soon save people from dying of cardiac failure as science makes major advances in cross-species organ transplantation according to researchers.A successful transplant of pig's heart to a baboon for a record 2.5 years has been seen as a major step since baboons are primate cousins of human according to scientists from the US and Germany reports AFP. Due to shortage of organ donors,medical science have turned to animals for hearts,lungs and livers to save human lives but organ rejection has been the biggest problem.                    Senator Bukola Saraki who took to his social media one hour ago through his Special Adviser/Media and Publicity Mr Yusuph Olaniyonu ,with the caption ''I'm Happy that the Trial has Commenced''.The statement said ''Senate President,Dr Abubakar Saraki has said he is glad that his trial before the Code of Conduct Tribunal on asset declaration in 2003 has finally commenced.Saraki said the proceedings of today has given him confidence that if the trial is conducted fairly he would be vindicated.The Senate President noted that even though the prosecution tried to bring in some dramatic narratives,it was clear that they were merely thrashing around and hoping to titillate the public with salacious tales.He added that he was hopeful however that when the time comes,his lawyers will have the opportunity to present his case''.One more photo below.

DONALD TRUMP SAID IN A MEMO THAT ''IF MEXICO PAYS FOR THE WALL AT THE U.S BORDER,HE WILL DROP HIS REMITTANCE PLAN''.

                   Donald Trump today tuesday said in a memo that if elected in November,he will build a wall and Mexico will pay for his planned way which will be along the U.S border.Trump said he would use a U.S anti terrorism law to cut off money transfers from illegal immigrants to Mexico unless it made a one time payment of $5 billion to $10 billion for the wall.Though Mexico has rejected paying for the wall,and it is unclear how much the wall would cost,and such a project would be rife with legal and political hurdles.The memo said''On day 1,a Trump administration would propose a rule mandating companies such as Western Union Co {WU.N} to require customers to provide documetation of their legal status in the United States.If Mexico pays for the wall,Trump would drop the remittance plan,.It remittance serves as de facto welfare for poor families in Mexico.There is no significant social safety net provided by the state in Mexico''.One more photo below.            

A CAMRY CAR CARRYING FUEL,EXPLODED TODAY ALONG OSHODI APAPA EXPRESSWAY.

                      Today tuesday morning,there was chaos around Fagbems petrol station along Oshodi Apapa expressway,after a Toyota Camry saloon car exploded.The car belonging to an Army personnel identified as Lasisi Adeleye caught up in flames after a Mercedes Benz 1428 truck marked AKM162ZW,driving recklessly,hit it from the rear.It was gathered that in the process of avoiding severe impact with the truck which was involved in dangerous overtaking,the Camry knocked down a passerby who fell and sustained leg injury.The Camry was carrying 25 litres kegs filled with fuel in the boot,and was avoiding crushing the victim.The Camry somersaulted,crossing the median on the expressway.Sensing danger,the army officer was said to have ran out of the vehicle unhurt before it eventually hit the padestrian walkway and exploded.Immediately the incident occurred at about 7am,motorists on the bust expressway scampered for safety while others assitsted the injured man off harm's way.The truck
