 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

POLICE IN EBONYI STATE,ARRESTED SOME MEMBERS OF THE ''GERMAN ARROR'' CULT TODAY.

                    According to sources,Police in Ebonyi state have arrested suspected cultist,that was said to be members of ''German Arror'',who abducted two girls,dragged them into the bush,initiated them into their cult group and forcibly had carnal knowledge of them.The state Police Commissioner,Peace Abdallah,who disclosed this while parading suspected criminals,said the incident occurred at Igboeze Onicha in Onicha Local Government Area.She said ''Six of the cult boys,Ugochukwu Onueze,Michael Innocent,Ogbonnaya Okike,Ogbonnanya Ogbu,Nnamdi Ogbonnaya and Emmanuel James,were later arrested''.Abdallah also paraded an official of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps {NSCDC},Chukwuma Igbokwe,and 10 others for alleged vandalism.The 11 suspects were said to have vandalised petroleum pipeline at Amaeze,Ishiagu in Ivo Local Government Area.The commissioner said the command received distress call on the activities of the vandals.She said ''

2 SUICIDE BOMBERS TRYING TO TARGET A SCHOOL TODAY IN CAMEROON,DIED INSTEAD.

                    Today thursday according to a local official who confirmed that,two suicide bombers died when they targeted a school in northern Cameroon.''The double attack occured in the public school in the town of Kerawa''.While there was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack,northern Cameroon has become the scene of increasingly frequent suicide attacks as /boko Haram militants step up cross-border violence that has also affected Chad and Niger.An attack targeting a market in north Cameroon three days ago killed 32 people and wounded 66 in one of the deadliest attacks in the country to date.One more photo below.

THE ITALIAN NAVY,RESCUED 290 MIGRANTS & RECOVERED 6 DEAD BODIES TODAY FROM A RUBBER BOAT.

                    Today thursday,a spokesman said Italy's navy rescued 290 migrants and recovered six bodies from the water near a half-sunken rubber boat.The navy rescued 109 migrants from a large rubber boat in the morning,and then 107 from a second boat a few hours later.When the navy arrived at a third rubber craft,it was sinking.They managed to pull 74 to safety,but six bodies were recovered from the water.A navy helicopter is continuing to search for survivors.The seas route to Italy from Africa is the most dangerous border for migrants in the world.The sea route to Italy from  Africa is the most dangerous border for migrants in the world.Of the more than 3,700 migrant deaths in the Mediterranean in 2015,about 2,000 perished on the way to Italy from North Africa.One more photo below.

FIRE RAISED 100 SHOPS AND BURNT 3 CARS TODAY AT JAKANDE MARKET,IKOSI KETU,LAGOS.

                        According to sources,at least 100 shop and three cars have been burnt in an early morning fire which emgulfed Jakande Market at Ikosi,Ketu area of Lagos state.The fire was said to have begun around 4:00 am,with goods worth millions of naira destroyed in the inferno.Michael Akinde,General Manager of LASEMA said ''The inferno started at about 4:00am on 28th of January 2016 at Jakande market,Ikosi-Ketu.The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained,but parts of planks section,banana section,and section where tyres are sold have been burnt down by fire.Threee vehicles were also burnt completely,several numbers shops were completely razed down.However,no life was lost to the inferno and nobody sustain injury but goods worth fortunes were burnt.The combined effort of LASEMA's Emergency Response Team,ERT and the Lagos State Fire service from Alausa and IIupeju stations were able to curtailed the fire from spreading further and causing more havoc.Goods worth
