 Fubara, Wike’s fight about money sharing — Amaechi A former Rivers State governor, Rotimi Amaechi, has declared that the feud between the suspended governor of the oil-rich state, Siminalayi Fubara, and his predecessor, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, is about money sharing. Amaechi said this in an interview with DW Africa on Saturday. The ex-governor also said the emergency rule imposed on the state by President Bola Tinubu was unconstitutional. He said, “The fight between the current governor of Rivers State and the FCT minister is about sharing money. If not, what is the quarrel?  Nigerians don’t dislike corruption anymore. I’ve not seen anybody on the street querying what the problem is. Can both of them speak to the public and tell us what the problem is? “We are now denied democracy.                   About 400 crew members were told earlier this week,that they will not be needed for at least another two weeks while they wait for actor Jonny Depp to return to return to set in Queensland.Jonny Depp was forced to fly back to the US earlier this month for surgery after injuring his hand.He broke his left wrist while filming the latest part of the movie ''Pirate of the Caribbean'' part 5.He snapped his wrist while skating on a private track at five time Moto Gp world Champion Mick Doonan's luxurious Coomera property on March 10.Queensland police and ambulance services confirmed that they were not called to any incident regarding Mr Depp but didn't rule out a possibility that he attended hospital on his own.One more picture below.                                                         ...

ENUGU STATE BOMB BLAST,AVERTED TODAY BY THE NIGERIAN POLICE.

                    The Nigerian Police today confirmed that there was a bomb blast in Enugu state today,through a post on their official website that's says ''The Enugu state Command of the Nigeria Police Force through its operatives working in partnership with other sister security agencies in the state on 28/03/15 averted what would have caused a serious damage and loss of live at a polling station identified as WTC polling station having three polling units located in Ogui in Enugu state.Heavy presence of security operatives at the venue,prevented Honda Accord car black in colour with registration number KUJ971 LB driven by yet to be identified persons loaded with some suspected improvise explosive deviced IED from reaching its target but exploded shattering the said vehicle on the road behind the polling station.Police Explosive Unit promptly intervened detonating remainders of the IEDs and also making the entire location safe.Meanw...
