U.S Postal Service unveils bald eagle stamps for America’s 250th birthday celebration The U.S. Postal Service is marking America’s 250th birthday with a new set of special edition stamps featuring one of the nation’s most recognizable symbols: the bald eagle. Unveiled at the National Eagle Center in Wabasha, Minnesota, the collection highlights the bird through five stages of life, from a small hatchling to the iconic white-headed adult that appears on the Great Seal. The stamps are now available for purchase nationwide. Officials say the design reflects both the life cycle of the eagle and the broader story of the United States itself. A Postal Service historian involved in the project said the imagery mirrors the nation’s own development, comparing the early stages of the eagle’s life to the country’s beginnings.                   About 400 crew members were told earlier this week,that they will not be needed for at least another two weeks while they wait for actor Jonny Depp to return to return to set in Queensland.Jonny Depp was forced to fly back to the US earlier this month for surgery after injuring his hand.He broke his left wrist while filming the latest part of the movie ''Pirate of the Caribbean'' part 5.He snapped his wrist while skating on a private track at five time Moto Gp world Champion Mick Doonan's luxurious Coomera property on March 10.Queensland police and ambulance services confirmed that they were not called to any incident regarding Mr Depp but didn't rule out a possibility that he attended hospital on his own.One more picture below.                                                         ...

ENUGU STATE BOMB BLAST,AVERTED TODAY BY THE NIGERIAN POLICE.

                    The Nigerian Police today confirmed that there was a bomb blast in Enugu state today,through a post on their official website that's says ''The Enugu state Command of the Nigeria Police Force through its operatives working in partnership with other sister security agencies in the state on 28/03/15 averted what would have caused a serious damage and loss of live at a polling station identified as WTC polling station having three polling units located in Ogui in Enugu state.Heavy presence of security operatives at the venue,prevented Honda Accord car black in colour with registration number KUJ971 LB driven by yet to be identified persons loaded with some suspected improvise explosive deviced IED from reaching its target but exploded shattering the said vehicle on the road behind the polling station.Police Explosive Unit promptly intervened detonating remainders of the IEDs and also making the entire location safe.Meanw...
