          The white wedding between daughter of Nigeria’s vice president Yemi Osinbajo, Damilola and the son of Nigeria’s billionaire business Woman Hajia Bola Shagaya has finally taken place in Abuja yesterday Saturday. The wedding was attended by political heavyweights including the president, Mohammed Buhari and his wife Aisha, and state governors. The wedding was held at the National Ecumenical Centre, Abuja, before it moved to the Presidential Villa.More photos below.

I called mum to know if they arrived safely and my brother picked and told me they did and that mum is resting. I thought it strange that my mum didn't call me but then maybe she was resting temporarily. Little did I know that the rest was eternal."My mother and brother where involved in a ghastly car accident en route to Anambra somewhere Benin.       Troops of 707 Special Forces Brigade have arrested 6 herdsmen, caught in the act of farmland destruction. Troops while on patrol in the general area of Kwata Sule on 17 March 18 encountered the herdsmen in the act prompting their arrest. After initial interrogation, the suspects were handed over to the police for further action. Similarly, troops on patrol in the general area of Chembe, Tse-Gundu, Tse-Iordye and Sbaor settlemen ts sighted two herdsmen on motorcycle along Kwata Shaor river bank. Herdsmen abandoned their motorcycle and fled. On search of the general area, one round of 7.62mm special was discovered. Troops continue to dominate the general area with patrols.       Lagos State Governor, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode  on Friday  justified the decision of the State Government to shut down the Olusosun dumpsite in Ojota, saying the location of the facility was no longer healthy both for trading activities and residents living in the neighborhood. Governor Ambode, who spoke while addressing scavengers and other workers at the site following the outbreak of fire last Wednesday, said aside the negative health implication of the site to the people, the structure of the facility was also risky and susceptible to all forms of hazards like the fire outbreak.
