The authorities on Wednesday charged Adani and two other executives at Adani Green Energy, his nephew Sagar Adani and Vneet Jaain, with agreeing between 2020 and 2024 to pay more than $250m in bribes to Indian government officials to obtain solar energy supply contracts expected to yield $2bn in profits. Prosecutors said the renewable energy company also raised more than $3bn in loans and bonds during this period based on false and misleading statements. A Delta State Native/Witch Doctor who lived in Edeoha in Upata Ekpeye Rivers state was caught burying a 3months old child alive and when confronted and beaten to confess, he disappeared. On getting to his house/Shrine 100’s of pictures were discovered nailed, tied and chained, to different places. Padlocks were in chains littered everywhere tied to people’s pictures. The dead 3months old baby was dung up, the angry youths tried all they could to burn down his building in order to set victims in chains free but the building couldn’t catch fire so they broke it down instead. So many items and unimaginable things were found there, and most of those whose pictures were found there are all dead in real life. The good news is that, most of those blind and with stroke whose pictures were found there have gained their freedom as we speak, the blind can see and those with stroke are perfectly fine. The Kaduna Zonal Command of the EFCC, today, November 3, 2021 secured the conviction and sentencing of one Adam Mohammed of Rigasa Kaduna before Justice M.T.M Aliyu of Kaduna State High Court, Kaduna on one count charge bordering on criminal breach of trust. He allegedly converted proceeds of the sale of a Mercedes Benz C200 2005 Model car to the tune One Million Nine Hundred Thousand Naira (N1, 900,000). The vehicle was given to him for sale by the complainant who, having waited endlessly for his money, petitioned the EFCC.

The abductors of six people at the University of Abuja staff quarters have demanded N50million each as ransom from their families. The demand for ransom came amidst conflicting reports on social media about the status of that kidnap. While some said they have been released, the school authority said it was yet to be contacted on the demand for ransom and their release.

Court Adjourns Hearing On Biafra Referendum Till 2022 A Federal High Court in Abuja has adjourned till January 20, 2022 hearing on the suit filed by the Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) seeking a referendum to determine the fate of Biafra and other self-determination agitations. It was noted that CNG had in June, sued the National Assembly, and the Attorney General, asking the court to compel the defendants to halt the ongoing constitutional review exercise and in its place, conduct a referendum to determine what determines Nigeria and who populates it. The case was adjourned on Monday in Abuja after the court before Justice Inyang Ekpo could not sit the same due to official assignment. Speaking to journalists on Monday after the adjournment, the spokesperson of the CNG, Abdul-Azeez Suleiman, noted that the court could not sit and the suit was subsequently adjourned to 20th January, 2022. The schoolchildren were reportedly abducted along the Igarra-Auchi Road, near Ikpeshi, Akoko Edo local government area. Gunmen, on Tuesday, intercepted a school bus belonging to Glory Land Group of Schools in Edo State and abducted two pupils. According to the News Agency of Nigeria, the vehicle conveying the victims in the company of other pupils was intercepted at gunpoint, and the abductors dragged the two pupils from the vehicle into a bush. They were said to be returning to Auchi, Etsako West local government area of Edo, after school when they were taken by their abductors. The schoolchildren were reportedly abducted along the Igarra-Auchi Road, near Ikpeshi, Akoko Edo local government area.
