PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICERS OF TWO AGENCIES . (PHOTO). #PRESS RELEASE.

 STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE  PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICERS OF TWO AGENCIES  President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr. Innocent Bariate Barikor as the Director-General of the National Environmental Standards and Regulation Enforcement Agency (NESREA). The President has also approved the appointment of Prince Ebitimi Amgbare as the Managing Director/CEO of the Niger Delta River Basin Development Authority (NDRBDA). Dr. Barikor is an academic and politician. He was a member of the Rivers State House of Assembly from 2011 to 2015, while Prince Amgbare is a retired naval officer and former commissioner in Bayelsa State. The President expects that the new heads of these important agencies will discharge their duties with utmost fidelity to the nation and unfailing adherence to the highest standards of professionalism, accountability, and excellent service to the people of Nigeria. O.A.U,FEMALE STUDENT SUSPECTED TO BE INFECTED WITH EBOLA,TEST NEGATIVE TO THE VIRUS.

                The Obafemi Awolowo University female student,whom her fellow classmate suspected to have been infected with Ebola virus,tested negative to the virus for the second time.She was a secondary contact to an Ebola victim.She was moved to Lagos from her school for further test after she submitted herself for the first test.The second test was confirmed today thursday to be negative,by the PRO of OAU,Mr Abiodun Olanrewaju.The PRO said that the result of the third test would be out today and doctors from the school were optimistic that it would be negative,since the first two test is negative.Sources claimed that Governor Rauf Aregbesola was very happy on hearing that the second test was negative.

MUBI EMIR IN ADAMAWA STATE,DID NOT ABANDONE HIS PALACE FOR BOKO HARAM-SPOKESPERSON.

           According to the spokesperson for the Mubi Emirate Council in Adamawa state,Chief John Babani Elias explained that the entire emirate observed with dismay the media propaganda regarding the emir leaving {escaping} Mubi for Yola on September 7,2014.The Emir never left Mubi at the wake of the insurgent {Boko Haram},rather as the Amirul Hajj for the 2014 Hajj operation for Adamawa state and as a leader,he went to Yola to meet with members of the delegation to make adequate preparations for the pilgrims.Chief Elias who is also the Danruwata of Mubi,cautioned the rumour peddler's to desist from spreading information that has no source and creating panic to the people of Mubi and the state in general.

OSCAR PISTORIUS WAS FOUND NOT GUILTY OF MURDER.

              Today thursday,Oscar Pristorius was found not guilty of the murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.The Judge dismissed the most serious charges against him saying ''The state clearly has not proved beyond reasonable doubt that the accused is guilty of premeditated murder.Viewed in it's totality,the evidence failed to establish that the accused had the requisite intention to kill the deceased let alone with premeditation.Clearly he did not objectively foresee this as a possibility,that he would kill the person behind the door''.Oscar was charged with one count of murder and three fire arms charge over the killing of his girlfriend on Valentine day 2013.The judge also reviewed evidence by neighbours,who testified of hearing shots and screams saying ''Many had their facts wrong.The media had huge coverage of the case and that could have affected some of the witnesses.I am of the view the witnesses failed to separate what they knew personally or

EBOLA VIRUS SPREADS TO LIBERIAN PRESIDENT'S OFFICE?

             On monday,the Administrative assistant to Foreign minister Augustine Ngafuan,died from the deadly virus.Her husband,a staffer in the office of President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf,is currently under quarantine.The names of the officials were withheld because the government has not officially notified the public about the cases,that is so close to the Liberian presidency.Minister Ngafuan's office is two floors below the floor now being used as the president's office.They are suspecting that the victim must have contracted the Ebola virus through her sister who had previously died of the virus.A praying woman {pastor} who laid hands on the victim sister had also died.On wednesday both the deceased Administrative Assistant in Minister Ngafuan's office and her husband had been told not to return to the office until after 21 days.
