 World’s Youngest Reigning Monarch , King Oyo, Dies at 34 King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, the traditional ruler of Uganda’s Tooro Kingdom who became the world’s youngest reigning monarch after ascending the throne at three, has died at the age of 34. The monarch reportedly died on Thursday, with the Prime Minister of the Tooro Kingdom, Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire Akiiki, announcing his death on Friday. The cause of death was not immediately disclosed. However, Ugandan media reports quoted a government minister as saying that King Oyo had been critically ill and was receiving medical treatment in the United States. Reacting to the development, Akiiki described the monarch’s death as a major loss to the royal family and the people of Tooro. He urged members of the kingdom to remain united and calm while mourning the traditional ruler.                         According to the Yobe state Police Commissioner Marcus Danladi who confirmed that there was an attack on Yobe citizens today monday said ''The insurgents had caused serious damage to the security formations in the city,including the mobile police base.The Insurgents raided Yobe state capital Damaturu at dawn,setting fire to a mobile police station and shooting at an Airforce jet that was circling their forces and dropping bombs''.Is just a pity,the only thing we owe Yobe and Borno state is our prayers.
