               Today sunday the Nigerian Army in a statement warned the members of the Boko Haram group to surrender and face the law.The warning is contained in a statement that was signed by Col.Sani Usman,the acting Director Army Public Relations in Abuja today sunday.It said ''This is to once again warn all Boko Haram terrorists wherever they are,to desist from al acts of terrorism,surrender themselves ad face the law now.We wish to inform them that we are aware of all their hideouts,camps and enclaves.They should follow their colleagues who have so far surrendered.Failure to surrender will result in serious consequences as the troops are fast closing up on them''.The statement further appealed to Nigerians to persuade the insurgents to desist from their acts and renounce their membership of the terrorist organisation forthwith.I pray they surrender.One more photo below.                     ...

                    According to a deputy minister who said today sunday that South Africa plans to leave the International Criminal Court {ICC},as the government faces criticism for ignoring a court order to arrest Sudan's president earlier this year.Obed Bapela,deputy minister in the Presidency told reporters after a ruling party policy meeting that ''The ICC has lost its direction and the ruling African National Congress {ANC} wants to withdraw South Africa after following certain processes''.Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir,accused of genocide and war crimes,visited the country in June,but was allowed to leave despite a court order to detain him.Though the South African last week asked the ICC for more time to explain why it allowed this.But the ruling party this weekend resolved to leave the ICC,with Bapela saying powerful nations trample human rights and pursue selfish interest.One more photo below.       ...

             Around 1pm today sunday at House 88 {a bungalow},behind Oworonshoki bus stop,was riped apart by an explosion.The explosion caused a serious vibration and panic among the people.A huge crowd was seen gathering at the scene of the explosion,which left several houses destroyed and the windows of some shattered.Emergency rescuers were in the area to rescue lives.They include officials of the Lagos State Fire Services,Lagos State Emergency Management Agency,LASEMA,the police and others.Many eye witnesses claimed it was a bomb explosion while others said it was a gas explosion.The explosion also shattered glasses withing 1km of its radius and eye witnesses believes there are casualties.General Manager,Michael Akindele deunked claims that the explosion was a bomb,saying that it was a chemical explosion.He said the explosion occurred in a bungalow where gas and carbonated drinks were being sold.He further said a leakage from one of the gas cylinde...
