 Petrol price to drop to ₦739 from Tuesday — Dangote Founder and President of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, has announced that petrol prices will drop to ₦739 per litre nationwide, beginning Tuesday, with initial implementation at MRS stations in Lagos. Dangote, at a press briefing at the Lekki Refinery on Sunday, said the refinery had reduced its gantry price from ₦828 to ₦699 per litre two days earlier. He assured that the ₦739 per litre price would be enforced and emphasised his commitment to fight price manipulation. “Starting from Tuesday, MRS will start selling petrol at N739/litre. Definitely, we will enforce that low price. We will make sure that it’s implemented. If you have your truck, you can come here and buy it. We are selling at N699. The N699 includes the percentage of NMDPRA.                                    According to sources,it was revealed that the second nurse to be infected with Ebola virus from Dallas hospital in the United State,had traveled on a commercial flight the day before she showed symptoms of being infected with Ebola virus.The nurse who was identified as 29 year old Amber Joy Vinson was on the medical team that cared for the Ebola victim Thomas Eric Duncan,a Liberian based in America,after he was admitted to the hospital 28 September and put in isolation.She was a passenger on Frontier Airlines flight 1143 on monday,flying from Cleveland to Dallas Forth Worth.Though officials corrected the Director of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Dr Thomas R.           A  Local Official in Congo said today thursday that at least 27 people were killed in overnight attack on villages near the eastern Congolese town of Beni.Ewanakawa Nyonyi,spokesman for the Mayor of Beni,blamed the attack on Uganda ADF-NALE rebels that operate along side a string of other Local foreign armed groups in Democratic Republic of Congo's mineral rich eastern bored zone.One more picture below.

UNITED STATES TO USE SPANISH AIR BASE TO COMBAT EBOLA.?.

                According to sources who are in the Defense ministry said today that the United States has asked the Madrid government for permission to use their U.S air bases in Spain,for its operation to combat the Ebola crisis in Africa.''The U.S authorities have indeed asked Spain to use their bases in their country as a transit point for logistics and engineers building up field hospitals in Liberia and Sierra Leone.None of the planes will transport patients or people suspected to have contracted Ebola,or who have been in contact with infected people.Spain will have a right to inspect the planes and passengers''.The decision is due to be announced tomorrow friday when Spanish Defense Minister Pedro Morenes meets U.S Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel in Washington.The United States has four bases in Spain,at Moron Dela Frontera near seville and Rota near Cadiz in southern Spain,Torrejon de Ardoz near ,Madrid and Zaragoza in the north.If Madrid ha...
