 MBAKPENEV FAMILY MEMBER FACES FRESH MACHINERY THEFT ALLEGATIONS IN ZAKI-BIAM A member of the Mbakpenev family from Ugbaam has been accused of committing another act of machinery theft in Zaki Biam, Benue State,only weeks after being released from police custody.   According to reports, the incident occurred on Tuesday morning at approximately 9:00AM near Living Faith Church. Eyewitnesses stated that the suspect was seen in possession of the stolen machine and heading towards Channels 2.   This latest allegation has raised serious concerns within the community, as residents call for decisive measures to safeguard Ukum’s progress and ensure accountability. Authorities are expected to investigate the matter thoroughly and take appropriate action.  

NIGERIAN HEALTH AUTHORITY IN ONDO STATE,SAID THE MYSTERIOUS DEATH WAS CAUSED BY LOCAL GIN NOT IDLE.

                             Today monday,the Nigerian Health Commissioner in Ondo state Dayo Adeyanju said 23 people were affected but only 18 people died.They discovered that ethanol poisoning from a local gin-way have been responsible for the sudden death of the 18 people last week.''We strongly suspect ethanol poisoning and in view of this,we have ordered for another toxicology test for the surviving victims.Our investigations revealed that five of the victims took local gin mixed with herbs.Three of them died while the other two have been put under close observation.We will continue to monitor the situation.We are appealing to our people to report any case of sudden illness or death to the health authorities for immediate action''.Experts from the World Health Organization were in Ode Irele to investigate the ailment with a view to containing it.The global health body said yesterday sunday that pesticide poi...

                       Today monday,South Africa's influential Zulu King Goodwill Zwelithini described the recent anti-immigrant attacks as vile,defending himself against claims that previous comments he made about foreigners had fueled the unrest.He said ''We need to make sure no more foreigners are attacked.We must stop theses vile acts.The country has only been shown a portion of my speech,which has been selective if it were true that i said foreigners must go,this country would be up inflames''.One more picture below.
