EFCC TASKFORCE ARRESTS 34 SUSPECTED CURRENCY SPECULATORS IN ABUJA. (PHOTOS). #PRESS RELEASE.

 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

A HOUSEMAID ESTER ABIODUN,ARRESTED AFTER SHE POURED HOT WATER ON HER MADAM 4 DAYS AGO IN LAGOS.

                                                          According to sources,a 17 year old house maid Esther Abiodun has been arraigned before a Lagos state magistrates court for allegedly pouring hot water on her employer,Alhaja Dupe Iba Agba,while she was asleep.Abiodun was arrested by the police from the Adeniji Adele division,Lagos Island and arraigned before an Igbosere Magistrate court on a two count charge of felony to with,unlawful pouring of hot water on her employer's body occasioning grievious bodily harm.The Police prosecutor,Inspector Philip Osijale,informed the court that the accused committed the offence on 14 September 2015 at her employers residence located at 20/21 Osho street,Lagos Island a day after she secured the job as a house maid.The accused boiled hot water,monitored her boss and poured it on her body while she was asleep and in the process she sustained serious burns all over her body including chest,right and left hands.He said the victim was rushed to

THE DEATH TOLL FROM THE FUEL TRUCK BLAST IN SOUTH SUDAN,HAS RISEN FROM 100 TO 182 TODAY.

               According to a regional official who said today friday that the death toll in South Sudan from the explosion of a fuel truck this week has risen to 182.The blast occurred on wednesday as crowds gathered around the tanker to gather fuel after it had veered off the road.An official had earlier said the toll could keeping rising as South Sudan did not have adequate facilities to treat the burns.Wilson Thomas Yanga,Maridi county Commissioner said ''The death toll has increased to 182 people.However,we are now on the ground evacuating some serious cases to a safe location for medical attention''.

OSUN DEPUTY GOVERNOR,DEBUNKS THE RUMOURS OF HER DEATH,BY ATTENDING A PUBLIC FUNCTION TODAY.

                                                                        Today friday,the deputy governor of Osun state Titilayo Laoye Tomori squashed the rumors of her death that was announced since tuesday when she represented her boss Rauf Aregbesola at the closing ceremony of three day National Women Conference organised by the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials,COWLSO held at the Eko Hotels and Towers,Victoria Island,Lagos today friday.Tomori first sang praises to God and asked the thousands of women present at the conference to join her in giving praises to God as he had done things wonderfully well.She then reminded the audience about the rumour of her death making waves across the nation,saying that here she was hail and hearty and that she is still very much alive.According to her,the rumour of her death was orchestrated by people from the other side,but she did not expantiate who were the people from the other side.Since tuesday these week,rumours of her death flooded

7 SOMALIA SOLDIERS WERE EXECUTED TODAY,FOR KILLING 2 PEOPLE.

               Today seven Somalia soldiers were executed in Port city of Kismayo today friday after a court found them guilty of killing two businnessmen.Somalia top government official said on condition of anonymity,that the soldiers were accused of deliberately killing the two men on thursday outside Kismayo.Later the Somali government would give more details later.Na wahooo.

                         The name of these Lake is ''Hillier'' and it is located in western Australia.According to research,Lake Hillier was visited by the Matthew Flinders expendition on 15 January 1802.Flinder's journal entries are considered to be the first written records of the lake.Flinders observed the pink lake after ascending the Island's highest peak,now called Flinders peak.Flinders visited middle island again in May 1803,he intended to stop a day or two in Goose Island Bay,for the purposes of procuring geese for our sick people.It is reported that Flinders subsequently named the Lake after William Hillier,a crew member of investigator,who died of dysentery on 20 May 1803 prior to the expedition's departure from Middle Island.In 1889 Edward Andrews investigated the commercial possibilities of producing salt from Lake Hillier,and briefly moved into the Island with both of his sons.They left after working the salt deposits for about one year.The lak
