  Chikun/Kajuru Rep, Hon. Fidelix Bagudu, Announces New Appointments To Strengthen Inclusive Governance The Honourable Member representing the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, Hon. Fidelix Joseph Bagudu, has announced a wide-ranging list of new appointments aimed at deepening inclusive governance and enhancing representation across the constituency. The appointments, which take immediate effect, were unveiled in alignment with Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba Sani’s commitment to participatory governance. According to the lawmaker’s office, the list reflects deliberate efforts to ensure fair representation of all wards, communities, and interest groups across Chikun and Kajuru Local Government Areas (LGAs). A statement issued by the Media and Publicity Directorate noted that the move also fulfills the Honourable Member’s campaign pledge to integrate every segment of the constituency into the decision-making and governance structure.              According to a Chad soldier,who in a statement disclosed to the press that Chad soldiers killed 13 fighters from the islamic militant group Boko Haram in a battle in Nigerian town of Gambaru,today wednesday.Chad's army is in Gambaru as part of a regional offensive including Niger and Cameroon against Boko Haram,whose militants have staged cross border raids in addition to attack inside Nigeria as part of a campaign to establish a caliphate.Much of the recent fighting has taken place near Lake Chad,which borders Nigeria,Chad,Cameroon and Niger,and in northern Cameroon itself.The military source said ''We knew they were going to attack us.We were waiting.The battle didn't last long.They fled''.The army said 11 Chadian soldiers were wounded,three out of 14 Boko Haram vehicles were destroyed and one was seized.Boko Haram attacked the town of N'Guigmi on Niger's border with Nigeria late on yesterday tuesday with mortars and machine guns,but the...
