 STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE  PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICERS OF TWO AGENCIES  President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr. Innocent Bariate Barikor as the Director-General of the National Environmental Standards and Regulation Enforcement Agency (NESREA). The President has also approved the appointment of Prince Ebitimi Amgbare as the Managing Director/CEO of the Niger Delta River Basin Development Authority (NDRBDA). Dr. Barikor is an academic and politician. He was a member of the Rivers State House of Assembly from 2011 to 2015, while Prince Amgbare is a retired naval officer and former commissioner in Bayelsa State. The President expects that the new heads of these important agencies will discharge their duties with utmost fidelity to the nation and unfailing adherence to the highest standards of professionalism, accountability, and excellent service to the people of Nigeria. YOBE STATE EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT,CIRCUMCISED 60 BOYS FOR FREE TODAY.

                                Today saturday,Yobe State Emergency Management Agency {SEMA} organised a circumcision ceremony for boys aged from five years to 10 years at Pompomari Internally Displaced Persons {IDPs} camp in Damaturu.The Executive Secretary of SEMA,Alhaji Musa Jidawa said 60 boys were circumcised according to the tradition and custom of the people.Musa said ''Circumcision of boys as we all know is the first initiation {rite} of the boy to manhood which is his right and we have just given them this right today.The agency provided each of the circumcised boys with a blanket,a set of new cloths and a chicken as is done traditionally.We have made adequate medical arrangements at the camp clinic to provide them with medical treatment and needs for speedy healing.The agency in conjunction with the community leaders and parents agreed to circumcise them at this period of cold season because it heals faster.Bulama Muhammadu,a community leader,said SEMA had always made

               Natalie Cole,the daughter of Nat King Cole,passed away on thursday at the age of 65 years.Her family said in a statement yesterday friday that she passed away on thursday night at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles from ongoing health issues.''It is with heavy hearts that we bring to you all news of our mother and sister's passing.Natalie fought a fierce,courageous battle,dying how she lived-with dignity,strength and honor.Our beloved mother and sister will be greatly missed and remain UNFORGETTABLE in our hearts forever''.The statement was signed by Cole's only child,Robert Yancey,and her twin siaters,Timolin and Casey Cole.May her soul rest in peace AMEN.More photos below.

                       The Bring Back our Girls Campaign group said yesterday friday that its members will match to Aso Rock presidential villa on January 14 2016.The march will be in protest over the claims of President Muhammad Buhari that government did not have any credible intelligence on the state or whereabouts of the kidnapped girls.Aisha Yusuf,one of the conveners of the group told journalists yesterday friday at daily sit-out session to mark Day 627 since the girls were taken from their school's dormitory in Chibok,January 14 would be exactly 21 months since the incidence took place.The peaceful march she said is being organised to know the next step of government in rescue of the girls.The group also expressed disappointment that President Buhari did not say anything about the missing girls in his New Year message to Nigerians.One more photo below.

                       I just got a report from some sources who attends the Redeemed Christian Church of God said their General Overseer Pastor Enoch Adeboye said on thursday in his prophesies for 2016 at the Cross Over Service,warned that a new sexually transmitted disease will emerge during the year.He also said that the socio-economic issues in the country would get worse before they improve.He also said that natural diassters like flood,fires,earthquakes,are likely to get progressively realise that these are part of divine judgement against those who have unholy laws.If governments will repent of disdaining Christ and his church,he will help them win the fight against terrorism.He also said a major war will be averted and some families will trace the beginning of their generational blessings to this year etc.One more photo below.
