  Indian billionaire Gautam Adani charged in US for alleged bribery, fraud Gautam Adani, the chair of Indian conglomerate Adani Group and one of the world’s richest people, whose business empire extends from ports and airports to renewable energy,has been indicted in New York over an alleged multibillion-dollar fraud scheme, United States prosecutors have said. The authorities on Wednesday charged Adani and two other executives at Adani Green Energy, his nephew Sagar Adani and Vneet Jaain, with agreeing between 2020 and 2024 to pay more than $250m in bribes to Indian government officials to obtain solar energy supply contracts expected to yield $2bn in profits. Prosecutors said the renewable energy company also raised more than $3bn in loans and bonds during this period based on false and misleading statements. LOCAL RESTAURANTS IS REFUSING TO ATTEND TO A MAN THAT TATTOOED HIS BODY LIKE A BLACK ALIEN. (PHOTOS).

Anthony Loffrefo, widely known as The Black Alien, is a 33-year-old man from France, known for his body transformation in order to appear like a real-life alien.  Loffredo who has a split tongue, has himself covered with tattoos, including his eyeballs, as well as multiple piercings. In addition to removing his lips, he also had a surgical “rhinotomy”⸺a mutilation, usually amputation, of the nose, performed on him; which has left him with a gaping hole in the face. In order to look more like an alien, Loffredo also had dermal implants put in his face; which gives his skin a bumpier texture. He now has reptilian-style bumps on his forehead and chiselled lines across his cheekbones. Speaking on motive, Loffredo revealed that he has been passionate about mutations and transformations of the human body from a very young age, which formed the basis for his body transformation. PRESIDENT BUHARI INAUGURATES PHASE 1 OF LAGOS BLUE RAIL LINE; TAKES TRAIN RIDE President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday inaugurated the first phase of the Lagos Blue Rail Line, taking a ride from the Marina Station to National Theatre Station. KDSG Security Update: Tuesday 24th January 2023.  Troops rescue 16 citizens in operations across Birnin Gwari-Kaduna Road and Igabi LGA  - Neutralize three bandits - Three firearms, one explosive and 11 motorcycles recovered.  Troops of Operation Forest Sanity have rescued 16 citizens in operations spanning Birnin Gwari-Kaduna Road and a location in Igabi LGA.  According to operational feedback, the troops responded to a distress call along the Udawa-Manini axis of the Birnin Gwari-Kaduna Road. The troops arrived to foil the attack, rescuing 15 persons in the process. Some of the rescued persons who sustained injuries were rushed to hospital for treatment.   Similarly, troops of Operation Forest Sanity responded to a distress call from Gonan Doctor village, Igabi LGA, and laid ambush at a likely crossing point in Maraban Huda village. Prof Ikechebelu Reappointed As The DVC Of Unizik Awka Prof. Joseph Ifeanyichukwu Ikechebelu, FAMedS has been re-appointed for another term of two years on the saddle as the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration) of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Anambra State. The reappointment took effect at the 217th Senate meeting of the institution held on Wednesday, 18th January 2023 at the University Auditorium and convened by UNIZIK Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Charles O. Esimone, FAS, FPSN. Recall that Prof. Ikechebelu, a consultant in the medical field Obstetrics and Gynaecology was elected the institution's DVC (Admin) in January 2021, he was reappointed to continue in same capacity for another two year term. Former President Olusegun Obasanjo serves as captain of football team at his alma mater's novelty match  Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Monday, January 24, served as the captain of the football team of Baptist Boys High School (BBHS), Abeokuta in a football novelty match played to celebrate the college's 100th anniversary. Obasanjo was the star attraction for spectators at the novelty match which was between old students of the college and former teachers of the school. The former president scored a hattrick to end it 3-0 in favor of his side. More photos below.

Yesterday the news broke that some people running a restaurant in Ayobo disappeared after someone recognised one of them and all of a sudden, all of them including the owner and their servers all disappeared.  So I refused to blog the story without proof so now a lady is claiming is true even with pictures of the restaurant. The lady shared all these photos with the caption  "Abeg na the Infamous Ghost Amala joint be dis o🤦😭😭😭😭for all of una wey think say I dey joke. Abeg check previous post about this .... Baby dies after mother gives tramadol, goes clubbing 24 January 2023  The Cameroonian police have reportedly arrested an unidentified woman whose child died after she allegedly gave her baby tramadol drug and went clubbing. The Instagram user, who shared the story with pictures of the lady and the dead baby, said the mother gave the child the drug so the baby could sleep while she went out to party with friends. The incident was said to have occured in Likombo area of Tiko in the South-West region of Cameroon. It was further revealed that the said mother locked the baby in the house after giving him the drug before going out. Upon her return, she discovered the child lying down lifeless where she had put him and then raised the alarm. It was further revealed that the residents of the community descended on her and beat her up before the police intervened and carted her away. President Muhammadu Buhari has asked the senate to confirm ex-IGP , Dr. Solomon Ehigiator Arase, as Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC)  !!  Buhari’s request was contained in a letter read by Ahmad Lawan, the Senate President on the floor of the upper legislative chamber today. Fire Razes Another Foam Industry In Anambra A Foam industry in Nodu market, Okpuno in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State was on Monday evening gutted by fire, destroying multi-million goods. A branch of the industry in Obosi had also been razed on Christmas Eve of last year.The cause of the fire incident, which broke out at about 5:39 pm was yet to be ascertained. Newsmen gathered that the fire emanated from a corner of the factory and spread due to combustible nature of materials at the factory. The incident reportedly caused panic around the area because of several gas refilling shops surrounding the vicinity. State fire Chief, Engr.
