What you now have to do is between the audited account as of the end of the year and as at the day of handover. You know if there were further liabilities and all of that. But, in terms of the audited account certified and published already, yea, everybody knows that the State's finances are not quite robust to put it mildly. The debt probably is in the range of hundred and something billion. In terms of debt. And then, cash, from what I saw in the end of it, a few hundred millions. Say 300 to 400 million Naira. That's what the state has, I mean that's the base. But we are still going to have the reconciliations and all the accounts from January to the date that we took over and would put it out ther

As I stood on stage with Saje, and Aisha with @dolapoosinbajo attempting to solve a puzzle together, I couldn't help but appreciate and be inspired by how these kids have turned trauma to triumph. About 10,000 other children, like Saje, Aisha , and Kaltum orphaned or displaced by the Boko Haram insurgency, have benefited immensely from the excellent work of all stakeholders at the North East Children’s Trust (NECT) @nectngr Learning Centre; a private sector-led and charity educational centre we envisioned in 2016, and which took off a year later in Maiduguri. For five years, these kids have journeyed from the trauma of insurgency and the cusp of hopelessness to an assurance of lofty aspirations. The evidence of progress was palpable as they welcomed us into their home to celebrate 5 years of brewing inspiring drea

DESTABILIZATION: PDP GIVES ITSELF AWAY   The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has given itself away as being interested only in the destabilization of the country, peradventure it could then sneak its way back to power. Less than 24 hours after the Department of State Services (DSS) raised alarm about sinister plots by some elements to cause disorder in the land, using the energy crisis as a smokescreen, the PDP issued a statement, saying; “Our party fears that the situation is getting to a boiling point and can trigger a nationwide agitation that might be worse than the October 2020 EndSARS if not addressed immediately.” Which patriotic political party or organization ever threatens its country with anarchy, social upheaval and disorderliness, except one still smarting from its snout being yanked from the honeypot, as happened to PDP in 2015? But we wish to remind the now tepid opposition party that it was Nigerians that gave it the boot 7 years ago, and those same Nigerians have not f
