  Chikun/Kajuru Rep, Hon. Fidelix Bagudu, Announces New Appointments To Strengthen Inclusive Governance The Honourable Member representing the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, Hon. Fidelix Joseph Bagudu, has announced a wide-ranging list of new appointments aimed at deepening inclusive governance and enhancing representation across the constituency. The appointments, which take immediate effect, were unveiled in alignment with Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba Sani’s commitment to participatory governance. According to the lawmaker’s office, the list reflects deliberate efforts to ensure fair representation of all wards, communities, and interest groups across Chikun and Kajuru Local Government Areas (LGAs). AT LEAST 52 PEOPLE DIED,AFTER RIOT ERUPTED AT A PRISON IN NORTHERN MEXICO,TODAY.

                        Today thursday about an hour ago according to sources,a riot erupted at a prison in northern Mexico,killing at least 52 people and 12 others injured.The violence at Topo Chico Prison in Monterrey began shortly after midnight,and residents told local news outlets that they had heard explosions and shouting from inside the prison.The death toll,which is believed to include inmate as well as prison guards,could not be confirmed.The government said no prisoners escaped.Soldiers,state police officers  and the Monterrey police surrounded the prison as relatives of the inmates gathered outside to wait for news.The riot was brought under control around 1;30 am Mexico time.More photos below.                                                               ...

                Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh,her foundation is organising a Valentine's day event with the theme ''SHARE LOVE,NOT RAPE'',with children living in the orphanage home.This is line with her foundation's goal of eradicating violence against women and raising public awareness on the travails of the female.The Venue is at The Ijamido children home in Ogun state by 12 noon and their dress code is white and red.It will be so nice if Nigerians take out their precious time and spend it with the less privileged i believe it will mean alot to them.More photos below.

                  A statement by the spokesman pf the Nigerian Army,Sani Usman said that the troops while on operation at a cattle market yesterday wednesday morning,intercepted the insurgents and seized the supplies.''In continuation of their clearance operations of remnants of Boko Haram terrorists in the North East,troops of 212 Tank Battalion,29 Task Force Brigade,early this morning laid an ambush on some Boko Haram elements at a major cattle market in Gwai Mainari around Mainok general area.The ambush party supported by a quick Response Group {QRG},captured a Hilux vehicle containing 8 jerry cans of petroleum,oil and lubricants,large quantity of 7.62mm ammuitions,127mm ammunitions and 4 AK-47 rifles,as well as 5 hand grenades.Some of the terrorists were killed while others escaped with gunshot wounds.It is important to note that more operational strategies are being employed to further flush out the remnants of Boko Haram terrorists wher...

100,000 NIGERIANS,ARE LIVING OUTSIDE NIGERIA AS REFUGEES-U.S ASSISTANT SECRETARY SAID SO TODAY.

                            According to Ms Linda Thomas-Greenfield,the U.S Assistant Secretary for African Affairs,today thursday said that about 100,000 Nigerians were currently living outside Nigeria as refugees in neighbouring countries.Thomas-Linda,who announced this to Journalists from across Africa in a telepress conference,said that Boko Haram attacks had forced more than one million Nigerians out of their homes.According to her,these people have serious concerns that urgently need to be addressed ''More than a million Nigerians have been forced from their homes.Close to 100,000 Nigerians are living outside of Nigeria as refugees.Thousands of families,ordinary people,have been impacted by Boko Haram.And these people have serious concerns that urgently need to be addressed''.She said further that ''There was multifaceted effort in place to deal with security issues as well as dealing with the root causes.We're ...
