 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom. PRESS RELEASE IGP INVALIDATES EXISTING POLICE COMMUNITY RELATIONS COMMITTEE (PCRC) IDENTITY CARD …Approves redesign of new  IDs, Membership Screening The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, psc(+), NPM, NEAPS, fdc, CFR, has invalidated the existing Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) Identity Card with effect from December 2022. This is in line with the IGP’s zeal to sanitize and standardize all sectors including the Police Community Relations Committee. The IGP has also ordered the redesign and re-issuance of new PCRC ID cards from the Force Headquarters, Abuja, and through judicious screening of membership across board. The Inspector-General of Police hereby directs all eligible members of PCRC nationwide to contact the offices of the various Zonal, Command and Formations PCRC Chairmen as well as the Police Public Relations Officers (PPROs) of their Zones, Commands and Formations respectively to obtain new forms for processing the newly approved ID Card.
