EFCC TASKFORCE ARRESTS 34 SUSPECTED CURRENCY SPECULATORS IN ABUJA. (PHOTOS). #PRESS RELEASE.

 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

GHANA WAS RATED TODAY,THE LAST OUT OF 76 COUNTRIES IN A GLOBAL SCHOOL RANKING SURVEY IN THE WORLD.NIGERIA DID NOT MAKE THE LIST.

                        The Global school ranking was conducted by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development {OECD}economic think thank,but Nigeria was not even listed at all.The analysis based their survey on test scores in maths and science in 76 countries,and it is a much wider map of education standards than the OECD's Pisa tests,which focus more affluent industrialized countries.The latest Pisa test in 2o12,polled 65 countries and region.OECD's education director Andreas Schleicher said ''This is the first time we have a truly global scale of the quality of education.The idea is to give more countries,rich and poor,access to comparing themselves against the word's education leaders,to discover their relative strengths and weaknesses,and to see what the long term economic gains from improved quality in schooling could be for them''.The OECD economic think thank say the comparison shows the link between education ad economic growth.Below

                      I can't stop laughing when i saw these beautiful lady tatoo her beautiful eyebrow with NIKE trade mark.Maybe NIKE is her favourite designer but to tatoo the brand on her eyebrow shows she is a big fanatic of the brand.I am sure that after some years,she will be desperately looking looking for how to clean off the trademark from her eyebrows.Lets be frank,some people do apply eye pencils on their eye brows like these,though in another style.What do you think about her eyebrow.More horrible eyebrows below.

7 DOCTORS IN EKITI STATE,RECEIVED THREATS OF KIDNAP YESTERDAY.

                                                                                  Yeterday tuesday,seven doctors in Ekiti state chapter of Nigerian Medical Association {NMA} have received threats of kidnap from unknown gunmen.This is coming barely one week after the former Chief Medical Director of Ekiti state University Teaching Hospital,Dr Patrick Adegun and a nurse with the Federal Teaching Hospital,in Ido Ekiti,Mrs Margaret Aladenika,were kidnapped.Adegun was kidnapped along side his wife Kikelomo,a few metres to the gate  of their house located on Goshen Avenue,Federal Housing in Ado Ekiti metropolis.The chairman of NMA in Ekiti state,Dr John Akinbote,told news men in Ado Ekiti that the seven doctors received text messages from kidnappers saying they could be picked up anytime.Members of the Academy staff union of universities,Akure zone,had also called for overhauling of the security chiefs in the state.They hinged the call on poor professional handling of the kidnap of a member

FIFA INTRODUCES A NEW SYSTEM OF MATCH OBSERVERS,TO REDUCE INCIDENTS OF RACISM,AHEAD OF 2018 WORLD CUP.

                   Yesterday yuesday,a new system of match observers monitoring incidents of racism and discrimination at 2018 World Cup qualifiers was announced by FIFA.The system will be co-ordinated bt world soccer's ruling body and implemented in co-operation with the European anti-discrimination organisation FARE.Any incidents of discrimination or racism will be reported to FIFA which has pledged to impose  disciplinary sanctions on any countries involved.The implementation of the new system is particularly apt as racism is life in soccer in Russia,hosts of the 2018 world cup.More than 200 incidents were committed by Russian fans between 2012 and 2014 according to a recent report by the Sova center,a Moscow based racism monitory group.Last month FIFA President Sepp Blatter said ''A lot of work needs to be done to wife the scourge of racism and discrimination from Russian Soccer and the game in general.FIFA and European soccer governing body UEFA have often imposed rela
