ANAMBRA GOVT RESCUES 13 CHILDREN FROM TRAFFICKERS, ARREST SUSPECTS. (PHOTOS). #PRESS RELEASE.

 Anambra State Govt. Rescues 13 Children From Traffickers, Arrests Suspects By OCHA Brigade Media  13 children have been rescued from suspected child traffickers in Otolo Nnewi by a joint taskforce of Operation Clean And Healthy Anambra, OCHA Brigade and Anambra State Ministry of Women Affairs. The joint taskforce also confiscated fake documents that aided the trafficking.  The children were found malnourished and have been denied education.  Report say that the trafficker adopts and sold children to people from different parts of the country. The suspected trafficker, Angela Okechukwu and her collaborators were also arrested.  Speaking, the Managing Director of OCHA Brigade, Comrade Celestine Anere who frowned at the poor health condition the children who are aged between two and twelve years are subjected to, assured that the state government will continue to crack down on all sorts of illegality and warning all criminal minded individuals to relocate from the...

A MOTHER,CALLED A SLUT FOR BREAST FEEDING PUBLICLY.

                                                27 year old Rhea Holly was with a friend,both with new babies,in a Costa coffee in Purley,south London when her son Arthur began to cry for a feed.She said she knew that Costa coffee was breast feeding friendly and so she started to feed her 11 month old.Within seconds,a couple sitting nearby started calling her a slut and telling her she was disgusting and that her feeding the baby in public was offensive.She said she was left in flood of tears after being abused by the couple,who were in their 60's.She said the coffee workers reprimanded the couple telling them breastfeeding was allowed in public.A Barrister told the couple that the equity act 2010 bans anyone asking a breast feeding woman to leave a public place,such as cafe,shop or public transport and warned them to stop being abusive.More photos below.    ...

1 ARMY OFFICER ARRESTED WITH 10 OTHERS FOR PLOTTING COUP IN MALI.

           Authorities in Mali had arrested a army officer and a number of associates,suspected of plotting a coup against president Ibrahim Boubaca Keita.Lieutenant Mohamed Quttara,a member of the elite red beret army considered as close to deposed president Amadou Toumani Toure,was arrested late on wednesday.Sources claimed hewas planning something but didn't have time to carry it out.Certain political leaders would have been involved.The 10 that was arrested with Quttarra are now being interrogated.

THE EMIR OF KANO,DIED TODAY IN HIS PALACE.

           According to sources,the Emir of Kano died today friday in his palace.Ado Abdullahi Bayero,who was on the throne for half a century,died peacefully in his palace at the age of 83.Though he rarely spoke publicly,he was seen as a critic of Islamic group Boko Haram.May his soul rest in peace,Amen.
