 TROOPS OF OPERATION HADIN KAI RESCUE CAPTIVES IN KANGARWA The Joint Task Force (North East), Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), has recorded yet another significant humanitarian success with the rescue of over 47 persons, mostly women and children who were held captive by ISWAP terrorists in Kangarwa, Kukawa Local Government Area of Borno State on 20 June 2026.  The successful rescue operation was made possible through sustained aggressive pressure and relentless offensive operations conducted by OPHK troops against ISWAP enclaves in the Lake Chad region. The unrelenting ground and air offensives forced the terrorists to abandon their positions in confusion, enabling the victims to escape from prolonged captivity.  The rescued persons are currently being seen by medical professionals at a secure location.                According to Mozambique police spokesman Orlando Modumane,he said ''54 year old Gilles Cistac,who is a French by origin,had been in a taxi on his way to work when a car carrying four men pulled up alongside the cab and one of them shot him several times.The assassination took place today tuesday.Cistac had been a central figure in a debate about the creation of autonomous states in Mozambique,a country that has attracted billions of dollars in foreign investments in recent years after making huge coal and natural gas finds.Mozambique's main opposition party Renamo has called for its politicians to govern regions where it won more votes than the ruling Frelimo party in elections last year.Last month,Cistac told reporters that the creation of autonomous regions would be allowed under the constitution,a controversial stand point given that Renamo party has also proposed that Mozambique should be divided into two countries.For rebel gro...

           In a new video that was newly published,two men whom confessed that they were spying on Boko Haram,were beheaded after their confessions,and their bodies shown to the camera.The video is called ''Harvest of spies'',was posted yesterday monday,on twitter by Boko Haram.The video starts by showing a man kneeling and being approached by Boko Haram fighters,holding a flag used by the militant Islamist groups.The video then cuts to show two men,identified as Dawould Muhammad and Muhammad Awlu,was arrested by Boko Haram fighters before being made to kneel.One Boko Haram fighter,whose face was blurred by the militant group,stands behind Dawoud Muhammad,holding a large knife.Mr Muhammad tells the camera that his a farmer from Baga,northern Nigeria,and he was made to answer a series of questions at knife point and confessing infront of a camera.Muhammad reveals that he had been approached by a Police officer who offered him money in exchange for infiltrati...
