 BAUCHI STATE POLICE COMMAND PRESS RELEASE 29/03/2025   To the editors, SALLAH CELEBRATION: Commissioner of Police Orders Comprehensive Security Measures and Deployment of Adequate personnels The Bauchi State Police Command extends warm greetings to the Muslim community on the occasion of the 1446AH/2025 Eid-el-Fitr celebration, signifying the conclusion of the Ramadan fasting period. Under the distinguished leadership of Commissioner of Police, CP Sani-Omolori Aliyu, psc (+), mni, the Command is dedicated to implementing robust security measures and ensuring a conducive environment for prayer across the State. The safety of lives and property remains the highest priority for the Police. The Command has established extensive security protocols to achieve this objective, including deploying mufti-uniformed personnel for intelligence gathering.                According to Mozambique police spokesman Orlando Modumane,he said ''54 year old Gilles Cistac,who is a French by origin,had been in a taxi on his way to work when a car carrying four men pulled up alongside the cab and one of them shot him several times.The assassination took place today tuesday.Cistac had been a central figure in a debate about the creation of autonomous states in Mozambique,a country that has attracted billions of dollars in foreign investments in recent years after making huge coal and natural gas finds.Mozambique's main opposition party Renamo has called for its politicians to govern regions where it won more votes than the ruling Frelimo party in elections last year.Last month,Cistac told reporters that the creation of autonomous regions would be allowed under the constitution,a controversial stand point given that Renamo party has also proposed that Mozambique should be divided into two countries.For rebel gro...

           In a new video that was newly published,two men whom confessed that they were spying on Boko Haram,were beheaded after their confessions,and their bodies shown to the camera.The video is called ''Harvest of spies'',was posted yesterday monday,on twitter by Boko Haram.The video starts by showing a man kneeling and being approached by Boko Haram fighters,holding a flag used by the militant Islamist groups.The video then cuts to show two men,identified as Dawould Muhammad and Muhammad Awlu,was arrested by Boko Haram fighters before being made to kneel.One Boko Haram fighter,whose face was blurred by the militant group,stands behind Dawoud Muhammad,holding a large knife.Mr Muhammad tells the camera that his a farmer from Baga,northern Nigeria,and he was made to answer a series of questions at knife point and confessing infront of a camera.Muhammad reveals that he had been approached by a Police officer who offered him money in exchange for infiltrati...
