 Obosi Development Union Backs Dialect Quiz to Preserve Local Language ‎ ‎  ‎By Chiedu Uche Okoye ‎ ‎The President General of the Obosi Development Union (ODU), Barrister  Chimezie Obi, has expressed his support for the upcoming Obosi dialect quiz competition, aimed at preserving the Obosi dialect of the Igbo language from extinction.  ‎ ‎The event, initiated by Pharm. Obi Egbuonye's "Revive Obosi Dialect Project", is scheduled to take place at the Obosi town hall on Easter Monday, April 6, 2026. ‎ ‎According to Barr. Obi, the competition will promote the Obosi dialect and contribute to the preservation of the Igbo language. "It will bring together Obosi people who are proficient in the Obosi dialect, enabling younger generations to learn and appreciate their local language," he stated. ‎ ‎Nze Isaac Ejindu, leader of the Uruowulu village team, praised the organizers, including Pharm.                  A lot of tongues have been wagging ever since ex-president Olushegun Obasanjo showed up in President Goodluck and Patient Jonathan's white wedding of their daughter.I understand why people are shocked when they saw the pictures of Obasanjo in Goodlucks daughters wedding because of his media published speeches about Goodluck's government.Well if you ask me,this is democracy,any body can err their views,but that he showed up for the wedding means he supports Goodluck,that is my view.What do you think?.One more picture below.

                Buhari gave these advice today at the inauguratio of his campaign office and the presidential council in Abuja.He said ''I expected you to re-double your effort,i expect total support.I urge you not to insult or be rude to any leader on my behalf.Your conduct must not tarnish the image of the party.The opposition is committed to rule of law.Learn to be vigilant before,during and immediately after elections.Don't take the law into you hands,no matter the provocations''.I am sure uhari is referring to the Campaign buses of  Goodluck Jonathan that were burnt in Jos and the distruction of PDP property in Gombe.More photos below.

69 PEOPLE DIED IN A FUNERAL AFTER DRINKING POISONED BEER IN MOZAMBIQUE.

                             The beer is made from corn,sorghum or other crops.The beer is commonly consumed in feasts especially funerals in Africa.The mass poisoning occurred when people attending a funeral fell ill on friday in the village of Chitima in central Mozambique,with seven fatalities initially confirmed on saturday morning.Paula Bernado,the District Director for Health,Women and Social Action,said ''As we prepared to determine the cause of death of people,we began to receive a lot of people with diarrhea and other muscle aches.After that,we began to receive dead bodies from several neighborhood.Atleast 169 remained in the hospital,while samples of the brew and suspicious objects found inside the drum have been sent to the National lanoratory in the capital Maputo for testing''.Their President Armando Guebuza,declared three days of national mourning.
