Ifeanyi Adeleke, the 3 year old son of Music star, Davido and his fiancee, Chioma Rowland has sadly died. The tragic death occured on Monday, October 31.  Ifeanyi died by drowning at his dad's Banana Island home. He was rushed to Evercare Hospital in Lekki where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The couple had traveled for a family gathering to Ibadan yesterday and had left Ifeanyi with his minders who can't explain how he entered the pool without being noticed and drowned.  We gathered that quite a number of people at Davido's House when the incident happened have been arrested.  A distraught and inconsolable Davido was removed from Evercare Hospital and taken to his father's house where he remains as at press time.  Quite a number of Davido's industry friends are at the hospital this night. This is so sad. May God give Davido and Chioma the fortitude to bear this deep loss. One more photo below.   

11 Passengers Travelling From Imo To Kano Burnt To D£ath Along Enugu/Port Harcourt Expressway  Eleven passengers traveling from Owerri, Imo state to Kano state were burnt to d£ath after a Toyota Hiace bus they were traveling in, got involved in an accident on Sunday, October 30. The spokesperson of the Enugu state police command, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, who confirmed the accident said the Hiace Bus with registration number KTG 41 XD, conveying twelve (12) passengers, rammed into a broken-down and stationary Howo Sino truck, at Akegbe-Ugwu, along Enugu/Port-Harcourt Expressway and burst into flames. Ndukwe said the impact led to Eleven (11) of the travelers suffering severe burns before emergency help could get to them. He said they were taken to the hospital and confirmed dead by doctors on duty.  

Long Bridge/Kara gridlock: Abiodun calls for synergy between FRSC, TRACE ...as governor hosts FRSC Corps Marshal  The Ogun State governor, Dapo Abiodun, has called on the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) to join hands with the state-owned traffic agency in managing traffic along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. Abiodun made this call when he received the Acting Corps Marshal of the FRSC, Dauda Biu, in his Oke Mosan, Abeokuta office. He noted that it is important to have a good traffic management on the Long Bridge/Kara corridor at a time construction work has slowed down as a result of the inability of the contractor to complete the work. Abiodun described the pains travelers plying the almost three kilometer section of the road as painful, declaring that the action of the contractor handling the construction work around the corridor is completely unacceptable. Native Doctors in Anambra Protest Extortion to the Tune of 200M Traditional Medicine Practitioners in Anambra State in collaboration with Anambra State Traditional Medicine Board members and ex-officials of the Board have raised alarm over alleged extortion of about N200 million from its licensed members by an alleged fake medical practitioner, Daniel Ejie.   OGUN POLICE ARRESTS COUPLE FOR HUMAN TRAFFICKING .  A couple ,Godday and Ebere Samuel have been arrested by men of Ogun state Police Command on the 17th of October 2022 for human trafficking.  The suspects were arrested following a report lodged at Atan ota divisional headquarters by one Adeniji Okikiolu, who reported that his 16 years old daughter, Maria Adeniji suddenly disappeared from home on the 16th of October 2022, and while search party was organized to look for her, he was informed by someone that the missing girl was seen with Ebere Samuel on the previous day.  Upon the information, Ebere Samuel was invited to the station, but she vehemently denied ever seen the missing girl on or before that day. POLICE ARREST CABLE VANDALS IN IKOYI Officials of Rapid Response Squad (RRS) have arrested two cable vandals attempting to cut armoured cables in Ikoyi, Lagos.   The suspects, Wasiu Olainukan (25) and Habib Rasaq (30), were arrested on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at about 3:45 a.m. while excavating and cutting cables powering street lights in the area.    Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects, who were arrested with a handsaw and cutting pliers, were labourers on Banana Island. The Commander, Rapid Response Squad, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi has since transferred the suspects and exhibits to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) Panti for further investigation and prosecution.
