                               Lagos Water Corporation has appealed to the general public over the discomfort and inconveniences presently being experienced due to the disruption of water supply in some parts of Lagos metropolis.A statement issued today by the Corporation,noted that the disruption of water supply is due to shortage of gas in its Independent Power Plant {IPP} at Akute Intake and other water power plants as a result of current vandalization of gas pipelines in the Niger Delta Region of the Country.While noting that the shortage of gas has adversely affected the production as its various water facilities across the State,it maintained that the Corporation is current working relentlessly on an alternative power supply for its Waterworks.The statement therefore assured the public of the Corporation's commitment to providing uninterrupted water supply soon and urged them to bear with her as the pr...

                  Today tuesday,a Pennsylvania judge ordered Bill Cosby to stand trial on sexual assault charges over allegations that he drugged and assaulted a woman in 2004.The ruling came after a preliminary hearing that 78 Cosby attended in Montgomery County,Pennsylvania,in which witnesses testified about statements that Cosby and his accuser,Andrea Constand,gave to police in 2005.In court,Cosby responded with ''thank you'' when Judge Elizabeth McHugh announced her decision.She wished him luck.Constand,a former basketball coach at Cosby's Temple University alma mater,is the only woman whose accusations of sexual assault have resulted in criminal charges against Cosby.Constand told police she was attacked as she lay on a sofa ''paralyzed'' by drugs Bill Cosby had given her,said a former detective reading from a transcript of Constand's police interview.Cosby has been hit by a wave of sexual assault allegations from more than 50 women...

                        Japanese pop singer,Mayu Tomita,in a coma after being stabbed 20 times by a fan near a concert site where she was scheduled to give a live performance later that night.The suspect confessed to intending to kill her since the singer returned a gift he  had given  her.20 years old Tomito who is in a critical condition was also a college student now reported the suspect to the police for constantly harassing her on social media.More photos below.                                                                             

                 Today tuesday,President Muhammadu Buhari approved the appoinment of Mohammed Babandede as the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service {NIS}.Until his appointment,Babandede was a Deputy Comptroller General  at the NIS Headquarters.According to a statement issued by the Permanent Secretary,Ministry of Interior,Bassey Akpanyung,Babandele replaces Mr. Martin Abeshi,who retired from the NIS at the end of his tenure.The appointment took effect from May 15.                                                                                                                                     ...
