 STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE  PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICERS OF TWO AGENCIES  President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr. Innocent Bariate Barikor as the Director-General of the National Environmental Standards and Regulation Enforcement Agency (NESREA). The President has also approved the appointment of Prince Ebitimi Amgbare as the Managing Director/CEO of the Niger Delta River Basin Development Authority (NDRBDA). Dr. Barikor is an academic and politician. He was a member of the Rivers State House of Assembly from 2011 to 2015, while Prince Amgbare is a retired naval officer and former commissioner in Bayelsa State. The President expects that the new heads of these important agencies will discharge their duties with utmost fidelity to the nation and unfailing adherence to the highest standards of professionalism, accountability, and excellent service to the people of Nigeria. A HOSPITAL IN UGANDA,WANT TO START SELLING UNCLAIMED DEAD BODIES.

                           According to sources,the Managers of a hospital in Uganda are contemplating selling unclaimed dead bodies to universities and other research and training institutions due to an increased habit of people abandoning relatives bodies at the medical facility.Moroto Regional Referral Hospital in tthe Northern Region of Uganda was unable to carry out post-mortem on accident victims last month since its mortuary was full of unclaimed bodies occupying all the space.The overload of the dead bodies created a strong stench in the hospital which forced patients to desert wards and seek shelter under trees outside the hospital.Although the Municipal council collected some bodies the hospital  is still 'stuck' with several unclaimed bodies.The hospital management came to the decision due to the mentioned reasons and also because eight of its staff members of arrested for neglect.Dr Filbert Nyeko the hospital director said ''If we only get a fridge we shall

                             According to BBC,who reported  today that there has been outrage in India after a student was allegedly gang-raped by five men who had also raped her three years ago.Police are yet to make any arrests although the 21 year old was attacked last week in Rohtak town in the northern state of Haryana.She had been pursuing a case in court against the five men,when she was attacked on wednesday.The woman said she was forced inside a car and the men tried to strangle her.She was seriously injured and left for dead in the bushes.A passerby saw her and took her to the hospital.The woman was first assaulted in 2013 in Bhiwani town,Her family has alleged that they had moved to Rohtak after they were threatened by the accused who have been out on bail.The woman who is from a poor low-caste Dalit {formerly known as untouchables} told a television station that ''I was leaving the college when i saw them.They were the same five men.I was very afraid.They forced me

                                 Morocco has officially announced its intention to rejoin the African Union,32 years after leaving the organization.Moroccan King Mohammed VI has appealed to the AU,saying it's time for his country to return to its institutional family.He's also sent a special envoy to the AU summit in Kigalu.Morocco left the regional bloc in 1984,after the organization recognized the independence of Western Sahara.Moroccans describe the Western Sahara as part of their country's southern provinces.For more than three decades the country has refused to be part of the AU and in March,it threatened to pull its soldiers out of UN global peacekeeping missions because of the dispute.Morocco remains the only African country which is not an AU member.

Sambo Dasuki {red} purportedly for a contract without contract award.He was arraigned on friday,July 15,2016 by the EFCC,alongside his company,Almond Projecs Limited on an eight-count charge for allegedly collecting a sum of N2,417,000,000.0 {two billion,four hundred and seventeen million naira},paid into his company's account in tranches,between 2013 and 2015 from the account of the ONSA under Col.
