 TCIPC Customs, NNS Beecroft Reaffirm Commitment to National Security, Trade Facilitation The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Tincan Island Port Command (TCIPC), and the Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS), Beecroft, have renewed their commitment to securing Nigeria’s maritime borders and facilitating smooth trade operations.  This was highlighted during a visit on Thursday, 27 March 2025, by the newly appointed Commander of NNS Beecroft, Commodore Paul Nimmyel, to the Customs Area Controller (CAC), Comptroller Frank Onyeka at the TCIPC headquarters. While welcoming the Navy Commander, Comptroller Onyeka emphasised the importance of inter-agency collaboration in ensuring national security does not take a backseat to trade facilitation.                    We need a little comic relief.Ever since they kidnapped the Chibok girls,people took it upon themselves to campaign for the children to be brought back thanks for that we appreciate it but the personal campaign by most celebrities,is making  it look like a general police mug shot.Is either you go all the way like Tonto Dikeh or join other protesters on the streets.Though Nigerians wanted CNN to interview Omotola instead of Genevieve.Genevieve was interviewed about the bring back the girls campaign which was aired live yesterday 8.30pm on CNN.More photos below.

INEC,ORDERS POLITICIANS IN TARABA TO REMOVE BILLBOARDS.

              INEC {Independent National Electoral Commission} resident Electoral Commission  in Taraba state Austin Okojie,has given politicians in Taraba state seven days to remove all campaign billboards and posters or face prosecution''.He gave the directive at a stake holder's meeting held today in Jalingo.He said ''Posting the poster now is contrary to the Electoral Act.seven days is given to them to remove their billboards and posters.If they fail to comply with the directive,we will appeal to law enforcement agents to assist in removing them and possibly prosecute the culprits.We urge politicians to always play by the rules to instill sanity in the political arena''.

59 PROTESTERS,ARRESTED BY THE SOUTH AFRICAN POLICE.

          According to sources,the South African police arrested 59 people after post election protest in Johannesburg township turned violent.Brigadier Neville Malida said ''Police used rubber bullets and stun grenades to disperse protesters in Alexandra area,they had burned tires and barricaded the roads.400 people had gathered on friday outside a court in Alexandra to demand the release of other protesters arrested a day earlier''.According to the Electoral commission on friday said ''The South African ruling Party,African National Congress {ANC},won the 2014 national election with 62.16 percent of the votes''.
