                    It was reported that Beyonce has completed her brand new record and sources suggested that she has delayed the release in order to alloww another superstar to shine.Insiders to pressmen that Beyonce wrapped work on her sixth studio album at the end of last,but she wanted to wait until the ''hype'' around Adele's comeback with 25 died down before unleashing her new material.It's thought that Beyonce will follow a similar tactic to her 2013 release,which saw her drop her self -titled fifth record and 14 videos on the same day in December.Sources said ''It was wrapped up at the end of 2015 but she held off on a release as a code of honour to Adele,so their records didn't clash'.Beyonce doesn't have the pressure of releasing an album and is doing bits here and there because she and her team know it is Adele's time to shine.The last few months have been all about her comeback.Now Adele's sales are starting to die down...

                 According to sources,Nigerian troops have killed dozens of insurgents,destroyed camps,rescued 370 hostages and recovered arms and ammunition of various calibre.Addressing a press conference in Borno,the deputy theatre commander in charge of operations,Lucky Irabor,said the ongoing offensive led to the death of the terrorists in the past few days.''As part of the promise of the Theatre Command to keep the public informed of our activities,this press conference has been organised to brief on the activities of the troops in the past few days.Accordingly,in furtherance of the ongoing offensive operation to clear Boko Haram Terrorist {BHT} in the Northeast,on 17 January troops conducted a clearance operation at Shentimari general area and cleared Boko Haram enclaves and recovered 78 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition.Similarly,on 18 January att Chukun Gudu,troops encountered and destroyed terrorist's camps along Jillam,Bula Butube genera...

               Senegal Interior Minister announced today that they will deploy armed officers to guard major hotels in the county as part of its anti-terrorism measures.Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo has been outlining the measures that the Senegalese government is undertaking to prevent terrorist attacks in the capital,Dakar.The minister was answering questions from Senegal MP's concerned b recent assaults on hotels in Burkina Faso's capita; Ouagadougou and Mali's Bamako.Diallo said smaller hotels were also being visited by police to check their safety.He revealed that he had written to all hotel owners warning them to enforce their security or face closure.One more photo below.                       

               Today friday,the police in Lagos State Command paraded 36 suspects over their alleged involvement in various criminal activities in Lagos State.The suspects were paraded by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police,Mr Fatai Owoseni today friday.Among those arrested include Pastor Titus Onwuchekwa of the Presbyterian church,Umuahia in Abia state,Osas Felix fromEdo state who specialized in buying stolen vehicles from robbers and selling to unsuspecting people.Other suspects are 30 years old Bola Salami,28 year old Opeyemi Aregbesola,22 year old Chibuike Umeh and Ndibe Samuel.According to CP Owoseni,the police recovered an unregistered Toyota 4 Runner SUV,Toyota Camry with number FKJ 441 DV,Lexus Rx30 with number LSR 492 DX and Mitsubishi Pajero SUV with number SMK 484 DS,Owoseni also paraded suspected cultist who he alleged had been terrorizing members of the public.Those he paraded are Oluwaseyi Adetifa,Nofiu Ramoni,Saka Apalara,Ahmed A...

                        Today friday,The Nigerian Super Eagles played draw with their Tunisian counterpart at the group C match of the ongoing Confederation of African Football {CAF} 2016 Championship in Kigali,Rwanda.Nigeria's Chisom Chikatara scored the first goal in the match early in the second half before Tusinia's Ahmed Akaichi equalized at about 70th minute of the game,leaving the scoreline at Tunisia 1:1 Nigeria.With the result of the game,Nigeria remains on top of the group with 4 points,Tunisia second with 2 points,Guinea 1 point while Niger struggles to record points later today against Guinea.Osas Okoro was awarded the CAF Orange man of the match.One more photo below.
