  To fish-out fake IDPs, Zulum storms camp midnight for headcount ... Discovers 650 ghost households Around midnight on Sunday, Borno Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum showed up at Mohammed Goni College of Islamic Legal Studies in Maiduguri, where internally displaced persons from Abadam local government area of northern Borno were being camped. Zulum immediately sealed entrance and supervise a headcount to identify actual IDPs, in order to put a stop to rampant cases of dubious residents pretending to be displaced, who spend day times at IDP camps to share food meant for IDPs, and towards the night, they return to their homes to sleep, with some of benefiting from other means through which the state distributes food to vulnerable non IDPs in communities. OYO POLICE ASSURES OF DILIGENT PROSECUTION OF SUSPECTED CRIMINALS.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

   The Oyo State Police Command would like to inform the general public that at about 0900 hrs of date (7th March 2021), information was received that a group of persons, (later found out to be members of the Odua Peoples Congress- OPC), had invaded Kajola community in Ibarapa axis of the State. The invasion was reportedly aimed at arresting one Wakili, a Fulani by tribe, who is alleged to be the sponsor and mastermind of various criminal attacks against the people/farmers of Yoruba origin in the community.  2. The State Commissioner of Police has quickly moved into action and preliminary findings revealed that some OPC members went to Kajola community in Ibarapa North Local government Area of Oyo State. Babangida Sadiq Adamu who is a Real Estate Broker, Married Malama Maimuna Mahmud and Malamaa Maryam Muhammed Na'ibi ,yesterday 6th of March,2021.The first wedding fatiha took place at Kado Bmiko Juma'at Mosque,beside Kado Bmiko Primary School,1st Avenue Gwarinpa at 10:00am. Rivers State governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, says construction of eight flyover bridges in Port Harcourt alongside other critical infrastructure is in a mark of appreciation to Rivers people who steadfastly resisted attempt to use the Army and other security agencies to rig his government out of power in 2019. Governor Wike stated this at the flag off of the 802 meters long Orochiri/Wurukwo flyover bridge, made up of a deck span of 315m, north and south side ramps of 238meters and 249 meters respectively in Port Harcourt on Saturday. “Why we are doing this is because you too played a role in bringing us to Government. We also have to pay you back. Remember during the last election how the Army and other security agencies tried to rig us out in that election . All of you here came out and resisted that. (Mrs.) Uzamat Akinbile-Yussuf has given assurance that the Ministry will continue to identify, encourage and support creative-minded youths in the Tourism, Arts and Culture industry.
