 Okpoko Building Collapse: Ojukwu Condemns Illegal Structure, Orders Demolition ‎ ‎By Chukwuka Ugokwe ‎ ‎The Anambra State Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Bar. Chijioke Ojukwu, has on Oct 8, described the collapse of a three-storey building under construction in Okpoko, Ogbaru Local Government Area, as unfortunate. ‎ ‎The incident, which occurred in the Anata Anaba area of the town, claimed the lives of a middle-aged woman and her 14-year-old daughter, amid allegations that warnings about the safety of the building had been ignored. ‎ ‎The victims, identified as Happiness Ugoagu and her daughter, Chikaima, were reportedly asleep in their bedroom when the building collapsed onto their residence. ‎ ‎Ojukwu, who visited the scene alongside officials of the ministry, alleged that substandard materials had been used in the construction. SOLDIERS STORMS BOLA TINUBU'S PRIVATE RESIDENCE IN IKOYI,TO MONITOR HIM.

             According to Bola Tinubu media office,who said today tuesday that the former governor of Lagos State's  residence in Bourdillon,Ikoyi Lagos was invaded by combat ready soldiers.The media office for Tinubu,further explained that ''For three straight days,the private residence of the National leader of All Progressives Congress {APC} has been under surveillance by battle ready and helmet wearing soldiers,numbering close to 30 and riding in three patrol vans and an army truck stationed close to the entrance of the gate to Tinubu's house along Bourdillon road in Ikoyi,they have become a permannt feature.Their obvious target Tinubu himself and perhaps the hordes of politicians and visitors that visit his Bourdillon residence.The soldiers were first noticed on a sunday a few minutes to 11:pm in a army truck,so these morning tuesday,10 February,two vans from the army were stationed on both sides of the house along Bourdillon road,their missi...

                                               These information got to my desk yesterday,after the Public Relations Officer for the Nigerian Immigration Service Chukwuemeka Obuah,on monday made the information available after they placed an advertorials were placed in major media outlets for the purpose of recruitment.The statement reads ''The Presidential Committee to assist in Immigration Recruitment on monday February 9,2015,placed advertorial in some national national dailies requesting application from suitable Nigerians for enlistment into the Nigerian Immigration service starting from 9 February,2015 to 22 March 2015.Note the application is free and must be done online''.The last recruitment tragedy happened March 15 2014,when 6.5 million people in all 37 states including the FCT,for just 4000 vacant position in the service.More photo below.     ...
