 Obosi Development Union Backs Dialect Quiz to Preserve Local Language ‎ ‎  ‎By Chiedu Uche Okoye ‎ ‎The President General of the Obosi Development Union (ODU), Barrister  Chimezie Obi, has expressed his support for the upcoming Obosi dialect quiz competition, aimed at preserving the Obosi dialect of the Igbo language from extinction.  ‎ ‎The event, initiated by Pharm. Obi Egbuonye's "Revive Obosi Dialect Project", is scheduled to take place at the Obosi town hall on Easter Monday, April 6, 2026. ‎ ‎According to Barr. Obi, the competition will promote the Obosi dialect and contribute to the preservation of the Igbo language. "It will bring together Obosi people who are proficient in the Obosi dialect, enabling younger generations to learn and appreciate their local language," he stated. ‎ ‎Nze Isaac Ejindu, leader of the Uruowulu village team, praised the organizers, including Pharm.               Yesterday wednesday around 5pm Nigeria time,Nigeria and Argentina played and it end in favour of the Argetina players 3-2.I most say the referee was not fair to the Nigerians and if FIFA doubt me,they should go and re watch that match.What really caught my attention was the fact that one of the Argentina players Ezequiel Lavezzi,poured water on their coach Alejandro Sabella.That was rude even if it was a joke.He disrespected his coach when the coach tried to iron out some issues.What's your take on these matter?.More photos below.                                                                                                                       ...

             On wednesday evening,the ON THE RUN concert,kicked off with a bang in Miami Florida.People complained the ticket price were too high,but the show was sold out and Beyonce gave her fans,a run for their money.She wore a body suit that really showed off her bottom.I can't comment much on these,i will live it for the guys.More photos below.

            According to police spokeman,Frank Mba,he said ''After a preliminary investigation,we can confirm that 21 people were killed and 17 injured''.Though witnesses are claiming that people that lost their lives are more than 21.All fingers points to the Islamist group Boko haram,though they have not come out to claim they are the once responsible for the bombing.The bomb exploded in Banez plaza shopping centre in Wuse 2,around 4pm on wenesday.A witness Mr Shuaibu Baba said''I lost a driver and why?,because i came to make photocopy for 10 naira a page'',i begged the driver to take me to these plaza and this is the end''.The taxi driver was killed while waiting for him inside his taxi outside the plaza.More photos below.
