 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

CHRIS ROCK'S WIFE MALAAK,DEMANDS FOR A LARGE CHUNK OF HIS ESTATE AS DIVORCE SETTLEMENT.

                      Chris Rock filed for divorce from wife Malaak Compton Rock,December 2014.Today monday a source who claims to have seen the couple's divorce filling revealed that Malaak,the mother of two is seeking a large chunk of Chris Rock's estimated $70 million fortune to maintain her lifestyle.It was also noted that their prenup had expired as they had been married for 20 years prior to the filling.Malaak spends most of her time caring for the their children 13 year old Lola Simone and 11 year old Zahra Savannah.The family lives in an upscale home in Alphine,New Jersey,with neigbors including singer Mary J Blige and Yankee Pitcher CC Sabathra.A filling in Bergen county court,that also detailed the expired prenup,shows that the couple have already agreed to 50-50 custoday of their children.The court fillings also say that Malaak deserves a payout commensurate with the marital standard of living because of all of her child rearing and charitable endeavors.Chris and Mal

A MAN DENNIS,WAS CAUGHT TODAY STEALING MONEY FROM A WHITE MAN ON AN AERO FLIGHT FROM LAGOS TO ABUJA.

                     A passenger Mr Ovuironye Mathew Dennis was travelling on board a 6.45am Aero flight today monday,was caught while stealing about N350,000 from a luggage belonging to an Austrain,Novotny Aton,another passenger on the flight.31 year old Denise with 1.65height as captured in his temporary driver's licence and seating on flight seat No.23c,was spotted by a member of the airline's cabin crew when he removed the Austrain's bag from the cockpit as if he was changing his seat.The suspect was also caught with a wrap of marijuana.The suspect had removed the bag from the cockpit where the Austrain sat,took it to his own seat,giving the impression that he was changing his seat and stole a sum of N150,000 and 500 Euros belonging to the Austrian.But he ran out of luck when a female cabin crew raised alarm,asked him to remain seated while he was trying to return the bag to the cockpit before the Austrian could suspect any foul play.''While trying to return the

SOUTH AFRICAN COURT,ISSUES A WARRANT OF ARREST AGAINST SUDAN PRESIDENT OMAR AL-BASHIR.

                South African High Court judges today monday ordered that Sudanese president Omar Al-Bashir be arrested,saying they were concerned that an order of the court to have Bashir kept in the country was not complied with.The order reads ''The respondents are forthwith compelled to take all reasonable steps to arrest President Bashir ....and detain him pending a formal request for his surrender from the International Criminal Court''.Though President Omar Al Bashir was seen leaving South Africa.His presidential plane was seen taking off from water loof Airforce base.This happened while the court prevented the president from leaving the country.Gauteng High Court adjourned for an hour.

                       Actually he was born on June 15 but he celebrated his birthday yesterday sunday at Rodizzio Lounge Isaac John star GRA Ikeja.The dress code was ''Dress to impress''.Then after the Karaoke party,there was an after party at @TEAZERS PLATINUM LOUNGE at Opebi Road Ikeja Lagos.Alot of Nigerian well known entertainers Omobaba the comedian,Switch etc were seen enjoying themselves during the Karaoke session.Media houses also stormed the event,to also enjoy themselves.I want to Wish Smith Effiong a.k.a Meyagy,a happy birthday .More photos below.
