           30 years old Jasvir Ram Ginday is accused of murdering Varkha Rami on September 12 last year following a lavish wedding ceremony in India .The newly weds were cleaning their family home when Ginday discovered Varkha packing her bags after he fetched her a vacuum cleaner.The wife ,told him she new he was gay and could not stay any longer,prompting him to push the pipe against her throat with moderate force.Ginday told the jury he knew he was gay from the age of 12 but felt unable to tell his parents the truth because they would be shocked and devastated.Having never been in a heterosexual relationship before,he traveled to India in October 2012 and met 15 potential wives,before asking 24 years old Varkha to marry him on March 28.Ginday denies the charge of murder by pleading guilty to on manslaughter and also a further charge of perverting the course of Justice by lying to the police.                   ...

             They were arrested today friday on charges of trying to bribe a military officer to facilitate oil theft.Major General E.J Atewe,commander of the mixed military and police task force {JTF} for the oil producing Niger Delta Region,said two of the bunkerers,both Nigerian,had gone to an officer to request clearance to move the crude oil.They had openly admitted their plan was to hack into a pipeline and connect a hose that would siphon crude out of it into a waiting boat,and offered him $6,500 to provide a gun boay to protect them on ther way out.The suspects were immediately arrested for attempting to bribe the Brigade Commander for economic sabotage.General Atewe said ''A follow up operation had led to the arrest of two Britons and another eight Nigerians''.                                                     ...
