 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

KANYE WEST SPENT JUST 49MINUTES IN JAIL.

            He was seen entering into a police station on thurday for less than an hour and avoided being seen.It was revealed earlier this month that Kanye plead no contest for allegedly hitting a photographer at LAX in July last year.As  well as two years probation,he was also ordered to attend 24 anger management therapy sessions and complete 250 hours of community service.Kanye and his lawyer carefully chose to arrive at the LAPD station in Hollywood at 4.30pm to get his mug shot taken,as well as getting finger printed,Kanye is said to have gotten out after spending just 49minutes in total.Ksnye was caught on film assaulting Photographer Ramos at Los Angeles international Airport in July.Read the document below.

           30 years old Jasvir Ram Ginday is accused of murdering Varkha Rami on September 12 last year following a lavish wedding ceremony in India .The newly weds were cleaning their family home when Ginday discovered Varkha packing her bags after he fetched her a vacuum cleaner.The wife ,told him she new he was gay and could not stay any longer,prompting him to push the pipe against her throat with moderate force.Ginday told the jury he knew he was gay from the age of 12 but felt unable to tell his parents the truth because they would be shocked and devastated.Having never been in a heterosexual relationship before,he traveled to India in October 2012 and met 15 potential wives,before asking 24 years old Varkha to marry him on March 28.Ginday denies the charge of murder by pleading guilty to on manslaughter and also a further charge of perverting the course of Justice by lying to the police.

SOPHIA LOREN JUDGES CZECH MISS 2014 BEAUTY CONTEST.

          Today friday,79 year old Sophia Loren judges the Czech miss 2014 beauty contest in Prague.She is wearing a chic black outfit,with an Azure blue patterned scarf.She was invited as a member of the jury in the finals.She will also crown the winner of the competition who will be announced on Saturday.Sophia has been away from the movie industry for awhile now but she is making a come back as a lead in her younger son's new film.The title of the film is Edoardo ponti's la voce umana {The Human Voice},which was seen filming in her native Naples over the summer.The film is based on a 1930 play by iconic French playwright Jean Cocteau,which comprises a single monologue by a woman on the phone to her lover,who is about to marry another woman.Sophia's last acting role was three years ago when she played the part of her own mother in autobiographical Ialian television La mia casa e' pienadi specci {My house if full of mirrors}.Her last staring big screen part was back in

               Today friday,sources claimed that atleast seven people died in the Capital of Central African Republic after a grenade exploded among a crowd of mourners attending a funeral.African Union peace keeping mission know as MISCA,said ''The figure for the number who died there is seven''.2,00 French soldiers and 6,000 African Union peace keeping mission to the Central African Republic,has so far failed to halt violence.

10 NIGERIANS AND 2 BRITONS ARRESTED FOR OIL THEFT.

             They were arrested today friday on charges of trying to bribe a military officer to facilitate oil theft.Major General E.J Atewe,commander of the mixed military and police task force {JTF} for the oil producing Niger Delta Region,said two of the bunkerers,both Nigerian,had gone to an officer to request clearance to move the crude oil.They had openly admitted their plan was to hack into a pipeline and connect a hose that would siphon crude out of it into a waiting boat,and offered him $6,500 to provide a gun boay to protect them on ther way out.The suspects were immediately arrested for attempting to bribe the Brigade Commander for economic sabotage.General Atewe said ''A follow up operation had led to the arrest of two Britons and another eight Nigerians''.

             Nick Cannon bought Mariah Carey a huge diamond bracelet for her 45th birthday today,two days after telling everybody about their wedding night and his love affair with Kim Kardashian.He saidit during an interview with a radio station power 106,the host is Big Boy on tuesday.The radio station posted the full video of his chat with all the the details it could not broadcast.Nick also spills details and lots of profanity about the first time he and his wife Mariah slept together.The first time was on our wedding night,honeymoon in a house in the Bahamas.He describes his wife of six years as his soul mate,''I'm a pleaser.She going to love this''.After being so vulgar and seeing the surprise look on Big Boy's face,Nick realised his wife may not be so pleased with him when she heard the interview.Nick decided to buy a bracelet for Mariah.Mariah posted two shots of her blingy bracelet on twitter.More photos below.
