 Obosi Development Union Backs Dialect Quiz to Preserve Local Language ‎ ‎  ‎By Chiedu Uche Okoye ‎ ‎The President General of the Obosi Development Union (ODU), Barrister  Chimezie Obi, has expressed his support for the upcoming Obosi dialect quiz competition, aimed at preserving the Obosi dialect of the Igbo language from extinction.  ‎ ‎The event, initiated by Pharm. Obi Egbuonye's "Revive Obosi Dialect Project", is scheduled to take place at the Obosi town hall on Easter Monday, April 6, 2026. ‎ ‎According to Barr. Obi, the competition will promote the Obosi dialect and contribute to the preservation of the Igbo language. "It will bring together Obosi people who are proficient in the Obosi dialect, enabling younger generations to learn and appreciate their local language," he stated. ‎ ‎Nze Isaac Ejindu, leader of the Uruowulu village team, praised the organizers, including Pharm.                        Apollo Nida,was not only charged for fraud,but also for identity theft.Apollo who often appears on his wife's reality shoe appeared before a US District court on thursday but was granted pre-trail bail.He was investigated by the Secret Service counter feit and US Treasury check squad.Apollo allegedly created fake companies,enabling him to access data bases to find individuals to rip off.He opened fake bank accounts under those real names and funneled stolen US treasury checks and auto loan proceeds into those accounts.A woman identified as Gayla St Julien,who was arrested in september last year and allegedly had $3million in multiple bank accounts tied to her.She described herself as Nida's right hand b**** in executing the legwork of his fraud schemes.She says she receives scraps compared to what Apollo was earning.Apoll...

                                     This picture above is a flooded street in Abuja,after a heavy rainfall,in which a meteorological Agency {NIMET} said on saturday that the rain which fell on friday evening in the FCT and it's environmnt was not the beginning of rainny season.They explained that ''The sudden weather change occured over Abuja around 4pm is due to  rapid northward movement of the line of demarcation between the south westerly winds.The winds brought moisture from the Atlantic ocean and the dry north eastely wins from the Sahara Desert''.They further explained that this type of weather occasionally occurs in January when the atmosphere becomes unstable and there is enough moisture in the atmosphere.             ...
