 Texas woman charged with medical child abuse for falsifying toddler’s health and pushing unnecessary feeding tube surgeries A Texas woman has been charged with medical child abuse after allegedly falsifying her toddler’s medical history to pressure doctors into performing unnecessary procedures, including feeding tube surgeries, in what authorities are calling a “sickening” case. Kaitlyn Rose Laura, 31, faces charges of injury to a child and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Officials said she deliberately misled medical staff about her 3-year-old son’s health to obtain a gastrostomy tube and later a gastrojejunostomy tube, despite no documented medical need. Investigators allege that hospital staff observed the boy eating normally while Laura claimed he refused all food. Covert surveillance confirmed the child was able to eat meals without difficulty, prompting authorities to stop tube feedings.                According to sources,suspected Islamist militants killed at least 10 people on sunday in an attack o a village less tha 5km {3 miles }from Chibok.A witness named Samuel Chibok,a survivor of the attack on Kautikiri village in the Chibok community said around 20 me i a Toyota pick up truck and motorcycles rolled into town.''Initially i thought they were military but when i came out,they were firing at people.I saw people fleeing and they burned our house''.A local vigilante said residents had so far recovered 10 bodies from the village.
