OSUN: ADELEKE, ASSEMBLY LOSE AS COURT AFFIRMS JUSTICE OJI AS CHIEF JUDGE. (PHOTO).

 Osun: Adeleke, Assembly lose as court affirms Justice Ojo as Chief Judge The National Industrial Court sitting in Ibadan has affirmed Justice Adepele Ojo as the Chief Judge of Osun State. The decision was contained in a judgment delivered by Justice Peters in a suit numbered NICN/IB/62/2023, on Wednesday in Ibadan. The court granted all the reliefs sought by the Osun Chief Judge against the Osun State Government and Osun State House of Assembly, including an order of perpetual injunction restraining both the executive and legislative arms of government from removing her as the number one judicial officer in the state. Matters came to a head between the Osun State Government and Justice Ojo in 2023 when the Osun Assembly passed a motion suspending her as Chief Judge of the state.        The Rehabilitation of Township Roads has shifted to Otukpo, Gboko and Katsina Ala Local Government Areas with the award of contracts. Also to be rehabilitated are three more Township roads in Makurdi Metropolis. The total contract sum for all the work is put at over N1.4 billion Naira. The roads to be given attention in Makurdi are from Wurukum Round-About to Airforce base, Bush Bar to Adaka and Customary Court of Appeal to George Akume road. In Otukpo, the Amstrong Avenue, Commercial and Och'Idoma roads are earmarked to be rehabilitated,while in Katsina-Ala,The Takum Junction to Juladaco Roundabout to College of Education, Juladaco Roundabout to General Hospital to Zaki-Biam road as well as Atim Atedze road will be given attention.        Six people are reported dead after torrential rainfall at Esereso Adagya in the Bosomtwi in the Ashanti region of Ghana on Thursday night. The deceased were members of the Jehovah’s Witness faith who had closed from construction works on a new Kingdom Hall project in the area and were on their way home in a saloon vehicle when the incidence occurred. According to reports, their vehicle, were washed away after the Attafuah bridge caved in as a result of the downpour.The bridge reportedly became weaker after the Ankonim River overflowed its bank. Hours after the incidence, rescuers have been able to retrieve the lifeless bodies of five of the victims with but the driver is still missing, according to family members present.One more photos below.

        Bullets fail to penetrate pastor after he was shot in Anambra (photos)A pastor was allegedly attacked and shot at by assassins yesterday but  According to reports shared by his church members online, Pastor David Elijah, the founder of Grace and power prophetic ministry international, was attacked in Awka, Anambra state, as he was going to his Church. miraculously, none of the bullets penetrated his body.
