        The South-East Zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC in partnership with the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC has set up Anti-Corruption and Integrity Clubs in three secondary schools across Enugu State. The Integrity Clubs were set up in October as part of the sensitization and enlightenment activities of the anti-corruption agencies and is an ongoing exercise aimed at using the National Youth Service Scheme, NYSC, Community Development Services to reach out to young Nigerians whose future are being mortgaged by corruption in every segment of the nation. This latest attack raises our fears that certain forces, who have been hostile to Senator Ekweremadu’s political standing, are still bent on silencing him at all cost. Dalaba is a town and sub-prefecture in the Dalaba Prefecture in the Mamou Region of Guinea''.            The Federal Government on Monday launched the special enterprise and empowerment programme otherwise known as TraderMoni in three additional markets in Lagos, with an assurance that the scheme would be extended to two million beneficiaries by December 2018 across the country. The TraderMoni scheme, which is a collateral and interest-free loan for petty traders, had earlier been launched in some markets in Lagos, while three additional markets in the State – Ketu, Bariga and Oshodi were added to the scheme by Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo (SAN), accompanied by Lagos State Governor, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode and the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship candidate in the State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu.        Justice Mohammed Idris of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos, on Monday, November 5, 2018, ordered a former governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu, to return to the country within the next seven days to open his defence in an alleged N7.6bn fraud trial. Kalu is standing trial alongside his former Commissioner for Finance, Ude Udeogu and a company, Slok Nigeria Limited, on an amended 39-count charge of money laundering to the tune of N7.6bn. At the resumed hearing today, counsel to the former governor, Awa Kalu, SAN, told the court that his client had travelled to Germany for a surgical operation. He further told the court that the former governor had been advised by his doctors to remain in Germany for some time to recuperate.
