PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICERS OF TWO AGENCIES . (PHOTO). #PRESS RELEASE.

 STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE  PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICERS OF TWO AGENCIES  President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr. Innocent Bariate Barikor as the Director-General of the National Environmental Standards and Regulation Enforcement Agency (NESREA). The President has also approved the appointment of Prince Ebitimi Amgbare as the Managing Director/CEO of the Niger Delta River Basin Development Authority (NDRBDA). Dr. Barikor is an academic and politician. He was a member of the Rivers State House of Assembly from 2011 to 2015, while Prince Amgbare is a retired naval officer and former commissioner in Bayelsa State. The President expects that the new heads of these important agencies will discharge their duties with utmost fidelity to the nation and unfailing adherence to the highest standards of professionalism, accountability, and excellent service to the people of Nigeria. POPE FRANCIS,TO VISIT AFRICA IN NOVEMBER.

                   Pope Francis yesterday friday said he planned to visit the Central African Republic and Uganda in November,and he hoped to go to Kenya,during his first trip to Africa since becoming Pope.Speaking to a gathering of Priests from around the world,the Pope said he wanted to add Kenya to his African visit but it is still uncertain because there are organizational problems.The Pope did not elaborate on the difficulties of visiting Kenya,but it has been a target for attacks by Islamist militants,Al Shabaab,who are based in Somalia.

THE 3 MEN TREKKING FOR ATIKU,STRANDED IN YOLA.

                       The three men are identified as Salilu Jibrin,Aliyu Adamu and Abubakar Suleiman,spoke to newsmen today saturday in Yola,said that since their arrival they were unable too see their mentor,Atiku.They said all they needed was to see Atiku or his representatives to deliver their messages and go back to their various destinations.They said ''I trekked for 38 days all the way from Lagos to Yola to see Atiku in view of his role over APC victory in the general election but up to now i was unable to see him.I am now stranded with no money to go back,at times i sleep in motorpark or squat with good samaritans {said Jubril}.Adamu,who rode bicycle from Kaduna state to Yola said he spent eight days on the way.''I want to thank the secretay Nigerian Union of Journalists {NUJ},Adamawa council,Mr Baba Zare,who had been assisting me since arrival to cope with the difficult situation i found myself.I want to meet Atiku before finding my way back to Kaduna''

STRANGE BUT TRUE:A GOODLUCK NOTE WAS ATTACHED TO A 56 YEAR OLD WEDDING GOWN,DONATED TO HELP CANCER PATIENTS.

                      According to sources,St Gemma's Hospice Charity shop in England recently received an anonymous donation.The item is a beautiful ivory lace peplum dress.The shop was accepting vintage clothing donations in order to help raise money for their hospice.The money was for their cancer patients and dress was something that no one expected.The shop suspects that the dress was custom made for the recipient because of the beautiful and intricate details.The note attached to the dress reads ''I WISH THAT ANY LADY WHO TAKES THIS DRESS TO HAVE A LIFE WITH THEIR LOVED ONE,56 YEARS LIKE I DID,HAPPY YEARS.I WAS A LUCKY MAN TO MARRY A LADY LIKE MINE''.The dress was later sold on ebay for 600 pounds thursday night after the note wedding dress went viral.The man that donated the dress was later discovered to be a 85 year old man {name withheld} and the wedding dress belongs to his late wife.More photos below.

                             With the out burst of the entertainment industry in Africa,some African youths are beginning to copy some western bad taste of fashion that any responsible parents in Africa will not allow their children to wear.Now take a look at the picture above,she copied these dress style because she saw it on Television or a fashion outlet,where Kendall Jenner wore these dress style to an award.I am not against the fact that she copied a particular style,but i am against the fact that she did not take out her time to re-brand the style and make it more decent.If these her Ghana print style was stitched down a little like 10 inch,it would have looked a little better and the Ghana print inside will still show.What do you?.One more picture below.
