DRAMA AS MOHBAD'S EIFE FINALLY GETS SERVED DNA COURT ORDER ON HER HOUSE GATE. (PHOTO).

 Drama as Mohbad’s wife finally gets served DNA court order on her house gate Omowunmi, the wife of the late singer, Mohbad has been finally served the court order for a DNA test. It was reported that the Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Ikorodu had granted the order that Omowunmi needed to be served a notice of the pending DNA test application. The legal team told the court that the Sheriff of the court had attempted twice to serve Wunmi the court process but failed and the Chief Magistrate then ordered that Wunmi should be served by posting the court process on her last known address. In an update to it, the court order has been finally delivered to her. The court order letter was pasted on the mother of one’s house gate.

ARMY ARRESTS A NOTORIOUS KIDNAPPER 'FILANI AUTA' IN KADUNA.#PRESS RELEASE.

       The Nigerian Army on 5 April 2018 arrested a notorious kidnapper, Filani Auta at Ligari village of Kaduna State. The kidnapper kingpin was arrested along with his two sons during a raid by the troops following a tip off. Items recovered include two Dane guns and four mobile phones. OIL THEFT: NIGERIAN NAVY HANDS OVER TWO VESSELS TO EFCC.{PHOTOS}.

     The Nigerian Navy, NNS Delta yesterday April 5, 2018 handed over two vessels allegedly involved in illegal oil bunkering to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for further investigation and possible prosecution. Speaking at the handing over ceremony in Warri, Captain Adeyemi F. Adewuyi stated that the vessels, MV SIL Hausa and MV SIL Aisha were intercepted by men of NNS Delta at Aladja Community Jetty during a routine patrol. The vessels are allegedly loaded with petroleum products . Receiving the Vessels on behalf of the Commission, Richard Ogberagha, a Senior Detective Superintendent, said the Commission would do a painstaking investigation to ensure that the culprits were brought to book.More photos below.

ARMED ROBBERS ATTACKED BANKS IN OFFA YESTERDAY AND KILLED MANY PEOPLE INCLUDING POLICE OFFICERS.{GRAPHIC PHOTOS}.

         It was a sad day yesterday evening,in Offa Local Government Area of Kwara State, as no fewer than 30 fully armed robbers attacked commercial banks in the community ,killing more than 15 persons, including six Police Officers . Many sustained serious injuries. According to reports, the armed robbers, who came in about seven-vehicle convoy stormed the peaceful and calm community of Offa around 4:30pm, shooting sporadically into the air and made their ways to some banks. They were said to have used explosive devices to break into the banks. The banks attacked according to report are Zenith bank, Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) and First Bank.More photos below.

      A Danish man identified as Peter Nielsen from Denmark Copenhagen has been arrested in Lagos for allegedly killing his Nigerian lover by name Zainab {a musician} and her baby with a gun. According to a witness that spoke to newsmen,the incident happened in the early hours of today.Their body were found this morning at Banana Island where they live together with her daughter lying on her chest. When accosted ,he claimed he only woke up to find their dead body in the kitchen .The husband is being held at the police headquarters club road Ikoyi,Lagos while her body and that of her daughter have been deposited at a mortuary in Victoria Island.More photos below.

LASG RELEASES OVER N1 BILLION PENSION ENTITLEMENTS.

      The Lagos State Government has released more N1.24billion for the payment of Pension entitlements of 183 Public Service retirees under the Contributory Pension Scheme Dispensation for the month of March 2018. The State Commissioner for Establishments, Training and Pensions, Dr. Akintola Benson Oke, who disclosed this at the 49 th  Retirement Benefit Bond Certificate presentation ceremony held  on Wednesday  in Ikeja, reiterated the commitment of the current administration to ensure the payment of terminal benefits of retired staff. He said that 8,731 retirees had accrued pension rights of over N35 billion paid into their Retirement Savings Accounts from the inception of this administration to date, adding that “Despite the fact that funding obligations are huge, Lagos State is very consistent in payment of pension entitlements due to Governor Ambode’s commitment and diligence”. TROOPS NEUTRALIZE 21 ARMED BANDITS AND RECOVER WEAPONS IN ZAMFARA STATE.{PHOTOS}#PRESS RELEASE.

      Troops of 232 Battalion Zuru while on clearance patrol on Wednesday 4 April 2018, encounter armed bandits and neutralized 21 at Tunga Daji in Anka Local Government Area of Zamfara State. During the fierce battle many bandits escaped with gun shot wounds to the top of high ground close to the area. Weapons recovered are :5 AK 47 assault rifles, one Light machine gun, 5 magazines of AK 47 ri fle and 35 rounds of 7,62mm special ammunition. Unfortunately we lost an officer and a soldier during the encounter . The remains of the officer and soldier has been evacuated to Federal Medical Center Gusau. Similarly troops deployed at Bena acted on a tip off and conducted raid operation at bandits Camp in Laka Village of Kebbi State and killed one of the bandit and recovered one AK 47 rifle with a magazine. 3,729 NIGERIAN TROOPS TO BE PROMOTED.#PRESS RELEASE.

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai has approved the release of special promotion for 3,729 troops of Operation LAFIYA DOLE who participated in Operation DEEP PUNCH II in Sambisa Forest. 2. This is in recognition of their valour and uncommon commitment to duty during the operation. A breakdown of the beneficiaries include 223 Staff Sergeants promoted to the rank of Warrant Officers, 511 Sergeants promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeants while 994 Corporals were promoted to the rank of Sergeants. Others are 1064 Lance Corporals promoted to the rank of Corporals while 932 Private soldiers were appointed Lance Corporals. 3.
