According to a Statement by the Director of Communications - Actors Guild of Nigeria, Monalisa Chinda Coker, the two movie stars were reportedly missing after their family members confirmed they didn't come back home from a film location at Ozalla Town, Enugu State. According to the statement, the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas Ejezie has instructed all Actors to avoid going to outskirts of cities to film except with full security cover in view of the sad development. Chief Emeka Rollas also expressed shock over the ugly incidenct and urged the security agencies to speed up investigations that would lead to their safe rescue.

Internet Fraud: Two Kwara Workers in Trouble over Disappearance of Defendants Two employees of Kwara State Government, Adenigba M. Olusola, an employee of the State Judicial Service Commission and Bisiriyu Abdulfatai, a staff of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), who stood as sureties for suspects being investigated by the Ilorin Zonal Command of the EFCC for internet- related fraud offences have incurred the wrath of the Court over their failure to produce the suspects for trial. EFCC Return N3.7m to UK-Based Fraud Victim The EFCC has returned a sum of N3.7million recovered from fraudsters to the victim, 72-year-old Ms Judith Edewor who is based in the United Kingdom.  Making the presentation on Thursday July 28, 2022, in Benin, Edo State, the Zonal Commander, Usman Muktar, said, "The Commission will continue to discharge its duties professionally, ensure that fraudsters are brought to book and victims of fraud are restituted where possible".  A draft of N2 million was presented to John Uwanogho, brother to Edewor. The Commission had earlier presented a draft of N1.7million to the victim. The Minister mentioned this while speaking at the 2022 World Day Against Child Labour. According to him, the Federal Government does not have money to prosecute capital projects next year, a development that might worsen unemployment and poverty. “I can tell you that Nigeria is broke. Thugs Invade Catholic Church In Lagos, Cart Away PVC Registration Machines  Some thugs have invaded St. Bridget Catholic Church ljesha, Surulere Lagos, and carted away registration machines and disrupted officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission from registering people for the permanent voter card (PVC). As at the time of filing this report, the Parish Priest of the church this reportedly locked up the church while people who came out to get registered scampered for safety. A resident of the area who pleaded anonymity told Vanguard that the thugs invaded the venue, saying they wouldn’t be allowed to register because they won’t vote for their (thugs) candidate.
