 Fubara, Wike’s fight about money sharing — Amaechi A former Rivers State governor, Rotimi Amaechi, has declared that the feud between the suspended governor of the oil-rich state, Siminalayi Fubara, and his predecessor, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, is about money sharing. Amaechi said this in an interview with DW Africa on Saturday. The ex-governor also said the emergency rule imposed on the state by President Bola Tinubu was unconstitutional. He said, “The fight between the current governor of Rivers State and the FCT minister is about sharing money. If not, what is the quarrel?  Nigerians don’t dislike corruption anymore. I’ve not seen anybody on the street querying what the problem is. Can both of them speak to the public and tell us what the problem is? “We are now denied democracy. A MAN WAS FOUND DEAD,IN HOLLYWOOD ACTRESS DEMI MOORE'S SWIMMING POOL YESTERDAY.

            Yesterday saturday night,a man was found dead in the 52 year old Hollywood actress Demi Moore's pool.Law enforcement said the 21 year old man apparently drowned in the pool and his body was discovered early today sunday morning.While Demi Moore is currently out of town,a neighbour told the press that ''Dem's kids have been staying at the house for weeks and have been throwing parties everyday,day and night''.Other sources said the man was invited by an assistant to the birthday celebration,and the man could not swim after he slipped and fell into the pool.Though there use of alcohol used to be limited but sources further claimed that Demi and her children did not throw the birthday party.The police is still investigating what really happened and how come the man died in the pool.More photos below.                                           ...

                 A Ku Klux Klan chapter and an African American group plan overlapping demonstrations yesterday saturday outside the South Carolina State House,where state officials removed the Confederate battle flag last.Governor Nikki Haley,who called for the flag's removal from the State House grounds after the killing of nine African Americans in a Charleston church last month,urged South Carolinians to steer clear of of the Klan rally.On Haley's facebook page,he wrote ''Our family hopes the people of South Carolina will join us in staying away from the disruptive,hateful spectacle members of the Ku Klux Klam hope to create over the weekend and instead focus on what brings us together''.The Charleston shooting rekindled a controversy that has long surrounding the Confederate flag.Opponents see the flag as its displayed as a painful reminder of the South's pro-slavery past,while supporters see it as an honorable emblem of Southern heritag...

                 Yesterday saturday,the House of Representatives postponed its resumption date which was earlier scheduled for July 21,2015 to tuesday July 28,2015.This was contained in a statement signed by Mr M.A Sano Omolori,Clerk House of Representatives issued in Abuja states that ''This is to inform all Honourable Members of the House of Representatives of the postponement of the resumption of plenary session from the adjourned date of Tuesday,21st July 2015 to Tuesday,28th July 2015.Honourable members are advised to take note of the new date of resumption according,please''.

                           74 year old Brazilian ex-footballer Pele,who underwent a prostate surgery in May,is now receiving treatment in the same Albert Einstein hospital in Sao Paulo Brazil.There were no immediate details on why he was rushed to the hospital but sources claimed that he had back surgery on thursday.December 2014,he spent two weeks in the hospital treating a urinary tract infection that stemmed from a surgery to remove kidney stones the previous month.I hope he recovers soon.
