  Indian billionaire Gautam Adani charged in US for alleged bribery, fraud Gautam Adani, the chair of Indian conglomerate Adani Group and one of the world’s richest people, whose business empire extends from ports and airports to renewable energy,has been indicted in New York over an alleged multibillion-dollar fraud scheme, United States prosecutors have said. The authorities on Wednesday charged Adani and two other executives at Adani Green Energy, his nephew Sagar Adani and Vneet Jaain, with agreeing between 2020 and 2024 to pay more than $250m in bribes to Indian government officials to obtain solar energy supply contracts expected to yield $2bn in profits. Prosecutors said the renewable energy company also raised more than $3bn in loans and bonds during this period based on false and misleading statements. BOKO HARAM KILLED DOZENS OF PEOPLE TODAY IN ADAMAWA STATE IN FIVE DIFFERENT ATTACKS.

                 Today saturday,it was reported that suspected Boko Haram militants have killed dozens of people in five attacks in villages in Adamawa state that occurred after the government announced a ceasefire to enable 200 abducted  girls to be freed.Though the government cast doubt on whether the attacks really was Boko Haram or one of several criminal groups that are exploiting the chaos of the insurgency.In the first attack,suspected insurgents attacked the village of Abadam on friday night,killing at least one person and ransacking homes,while another assault on the village of Dzur today saturday morning,left at least eight people dead.Three other attacks in Adamawa state today saturday killed dozens of people.What is going on in these country?, because is just like somebody is somewhere trying to frustrate the peace between Boko Haram and the Federal government.One more picture below.
