 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

       According to one of my reporters Chinenye Genevieve,she captioned the picture above ''The police in Ogun state have arrested a woman,Omolara Abosede for allegedly killing her fiance,Sodiq Dauda,who she was engaged to marry in December.The suspect who stabbed the deceased with a knife,on tuesday,October 18,2016,in Ijebu-Ode,said she did it in self-defense.According to her,he was beating her and had broken a bottle to use on her before she grabbed the knife from the kitchen and stabbed him.Trouble was said to have started after the suspect didn't render proper account of a gas business established by the man.During interrogation,the woman said she was beaten up and sent packing,adding that she returned to the house on the instruction of her mother-in-law,who said she would come and settle the matter.But immediately she got to the house,the suspect claimed that the deceased pounced on her without mercy and broke a bottle to stab her her.It was then I took a kitchen kni

OKADA RIDER,ARRESTED FOR RAPING & KIDNAPPING A 15 YEAR OLD GIRL IN AGEGE LAGOS.[PHOTO}.

                     The suspected identified as 28 year old Dada Azeez Tricycle {okada} rider,kidnapped 15 year old Kabirat on October 5,2016 while on errand for her aunt in Agege area before the Rapid Response Squad {RSS} operatives rescued her on October 21th 2016 from his den in the same Agege area of the state.The alleged abduction of the girl was disclosed by her sister,Mrs Gbemisola,who disclosed that the girl was abducted with a sum of N58,000  meant for her thrift contribution.The suspect,after weeks of lodging in several locations to evade arrest,was eventually nabbed by the operatives at his residence at 7,Oseni Street,Danjums Cinema area,Agege with the girl in his one apartment.Confessing to the crime,the suspect disclosed that he wooed the girl when she was 14 years old at her sister shop in Agege.''We started having secret affair about a year ago.But her sister frowned at our relationship when she got to know but unknown to her,we were still seeing each other.In

          As part of measures to stem the tide of livestock rustling which serves as another means of funding Boko Haram terrorists activities,Operation LAFIYA DOLE,in conjunction with other security agencies has taken measures to stop the criminality.These measures have led to the arrest of some persons involved in aiding and abetting this heinous crime in the Theatre of Operation.So far,21 suspected persons have been arrested.Preliminary investigation and profiling of the suspects has commenced.Such actions by these unpatriotic elements are likely to jeopardize our collective efforts of clearing the remnants of Boo Haram terrorists in our country.Although investigations are ongoing,it is important to state that this is a warning to all those collaborators that aid and abet terrorism in the northeast generally and Borno State in particular to desist forthwith.The Nigerian Army and in deed Operation of LAFIYA DOLE would not tolerate such acts of sabotage from anybody.Meanwhile,the gen

                                           Yesterday saturday 22 of October 2016 i attended a wedding between Sarah Okaka and Kelvin Egbegi at Lagos Country club Ikeja,and it turns out that Nigerian multi-talented musician Dare Art Alade is very close friend to the groom Kelvin.He gave the couple a surprise performance and thrilled the crowed off cos the whole ladies that attended the event were screaming on their voices.Everything about the wedding was on point,from the hall decoration,to the cake #on point and the colour of the day was green and gold.I want to use these opportunity to congratulate the couple as they begin these new journey of marriage together Amen.More photos below.
