PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICERS OF TWO AGENCIES . (PHOTO). #PRESS RELEASE.

 STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE  PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICERS OF TWO AGENCIES  President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr. Innocent Bariate Barikor as the Director-General of the National Environmental Standards and Regulation Enforcement Agency (NESREA). The President has also approved the appointment of Prince Ebitimi Amgbare as the Managing Director/CEO of the Niger Delta River Basin Development Authority (NDRBDA). Dr. Barikor is an academic and politician. He was a member of the Rivers State House of Assembly from 2011 to 2015, while Prince Amgbare is a retired naval officer and former commissioner in Bayelsa State. The President expects that the new heads of these important agencies will discharge their duties with utmost fidelity to the nation and unfailing adherence to the highest standards of professionalism, accountability, and excellent service to the people of Nigeria. ISRAEL OFFERS TO HELP NIGERIA FIND THE GIRLS.

              Today sunday,Israel has offered their help to in locating the 200 school girls abducted last month by Boko Haram.Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu,told President Goodluck by phone ''We are ready to help in finding the girls and fighting the cruel terrorism inflicted on you''.He expresses deep shock at the crime against the girls.Though it was not expressly clear the type of help but Israel has defense ties with Nigeria and has provided it in the past with surveillance drones.

              44 years old Sean Combs,popularly known as Puff Diddy was awarded a honorary doctorate on saturday from Howard University in Washinton DC,a school he attended for two years before dropping out in 1999 to pursue a career in music.He told the crowd, ''I am a unicorn,you are a unicorn,we are unicorns''.Througout the day of the award,he was posting numerous shots to instagram and twitter.More photos below.

              The Black eyed peas star,posted series of tweets hitting at United Airlines after being told to leave a VIP lounge because a staff thought he had a fake membership card.Will.i.am was left furious when it happened on Saturday.He said ''Ha haha i got kick out the club#United clubsucks.....{sic}''.Accompanied by a photograph of the Global first lounge sign as he stood outside.He was heading to Washington DC to visit Puff Daddy for his speech at Howard University later that day.Will.i.am was still annoyed,later on a pilot asked to take a photo with him.''He flew us to our destination safely....that's what's important......i'm over being kicked out the lounge''.Later on Rapper Little Bow wow then posted a photograph on Twitter of Will.iam,Jermaine Dupri,French Montana,and friends with Puff Daddy at Howard University after he finally made it to Washington.More photos below.

SOUTH SUDAN ARMY VS REBELS,READ TO THE END.

          Today sunday,South Sudan's army and rebels forces accused each other of breaking a ceasefire hiurs after it came into effect,charges that will frustrate international mediators who had pressured both sides to stop the ethnic fuelled conflit.On friday,President Salva  Kiir and rebel Commander Rick Macha met face to face to sign the cease fire deal the second time,after both side have promised to stop fighting.The latest ceasefire was signed late on friday and all fighting was supposed to stop 24 hours later.Rebel military spokes man Lul Ruai Koang said ''The army launched attacks in Unity state and upper Nile state,another oil producing region.Swelling on upper Nile rebel positions began a few hours before the ceasefire deadline but continued after it into sunday morning.The latest violation of the agreement to resolve the crisis in South sudan shows that Kiir is either insincere or not in control of his forces''.Mediators had demanded Kiir and Machar meet

NIGERIAN ARMY,POSTS 2 DIVISIONS CLOSE TO CHAD & CAMEROON.

          According to General Chris Olukolade,spokes person for the Defence Head Quaters said ''The soldiers are stationed in the border region close to chad,Cameroon and Niger to work with other security agencies.The major challenge remains the fact that some of the information given here turned out in many occasions to be misleading,nevertheless,this will not discourage the collaborative efforts that are ongoing.The airforce has flown more than 250 sorties,and a multinational task force has also been activated and surveillance equipment is deployed in support of 10 search teams.The foreign security forces involved in the search had not conducted any military operations or made any arrests.
