 Obosi Development Union Backs Dialect Quiz to Preserve Local Language ‎ ‎  ‎By Chiedu Uche Okoye ‎ ‎The President General of the Obosi Development Union (ODU), Barrister  Chimezie Obi, has expressed his support for the upcoming Obosi dialect quiz competition, aimed at preserving the Obosi dialect of the Igbo language from extinction.  ‎ ‎The event, initiated by Pharm. Obi Egbuonye's "Revive Obosi Dialect Project", is scheduled to take place at the Obosi town hall on Easter Monday, April 6, 2026. ‎ ‎According to Barr. Obi, the competition will promote the Obosi dialect and contribute to the preservation of the Igbo language. "It will bring together Obosi people who are proficient in the Obosi dialect, enabling younger generations to learn and appreciate their local language," he stated. ‎ ‎Nze Isaac Ejindu, leader of the Uruowulu village team, praised the organizers, including Pharm. A FEMALE POLICE CORPORAL,ARRESTED FOR STEALING A HONDA CAR.

                  Yesterday wednesday,a 35 year old female Corporal Fumilayo Balogun,was paraded by the Ogun state police command,and fumilayo was seen wearing a uniform,ment for the rank of Assistant Superintendent of police.She was dismissed in 2010 by the Ondo state command for presenting a fake result to get police employment.After her dismissal,she promoted herself to the rank of Assistant Superintendent of police and started stealing cars from stores.The Honda car she stole,is worth N5Million,which was later sold to unsuspecting client.She confessed committing the crime at Special Anti-robbery Squad,SARS headquarters in Abeokuta,where she was paraded.One more photo below.

MBGN 2013 MODEL WINNER ESTER KANU,DIED YESTERDAY.

           We regret to announce the death of 24 year old Ester Kanu,who passed away yesterday wednesday morning,after she suddenly slumped and was immediately rushed to the hospital,where she was confirmed dead.She represented Abia state at the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2013,where she won MBGN Model.Though the cause of her death is still unknown,more details later,may her soul rest in peace.One more photo below.
