 SANWO-OLU HAILS LAGOSIANS ON SANITATION DAY The return of the monthly Sanitation Day on Saturday was successful- thanks to Lagosians who trooped out to clean their environment.  From Ikorodu to Badagry, Lagos Island and Lagos Mainland ; Alimoso to Ikeja and Agege, the turnout was impressive.  Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu would like to put on record the enthusiasm of residents who woke up early to obey the call for a return to a culture that made our state a healthy and clean place for all.  “I thank Lagosians who joined the call to clean up our environment as a sure step to good health,”Mr Sanwo-Olu said.   “That is patriotic; it is the Spirit of Lagos that we often speak about. We should continue to walk that path,” he added. A FEMALE POLICE CORPORAL,ARRESTED FOR STEALING A HONDA CAR.

                  Yesterday wednesday,a 35 year old female Corporal Fumilayo Balogun,was paraded by the Ogun state police command,and fumilayo was seen wearing a uniform,ment for the rank of Assistant Superintendent of police.She was dismissed in 2010 by the Ondo state command for presenting a fake result to get police employment.After her dismissal,she promoted herself to the rank of Assistant Superintendent of police and started stealing cars from stores.The Honda car she stole,is worth N5Million,which was later sold to unsuspecting client.She confessed committing the crime at Special Anti-robbery Squad,SARS headquarters in Abeokuta,where she was paraded.One more photo below.

MBGN 2013 MODEL WINNER ESTER KANU,DIED YESTERDAY.

           We regret to announce the death of 24 year old Ester Kanu,who passed away yesterday wednesday morning,after she suddenly slumped and was immediately rushed to the hospital,where she was confirmed dead.She represented Abia state at the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2013,where she won MBGN Model.Though the cause of her death is still unknown,more details later,may her soul rest in peace.One more photo below.
