 Noise pollution: Lagos seals five churches, 19 hotels The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency has temporarily shut down no fewer than five churches and 19 hotels over noise pollution between March 23 and April 26  Calculations by our correspondent also showed that no fewer than four markets and shopping complexes were also shut down over noise pollution and other environmental infractions. The churches that have been temporarily sealed include St Monica’s Hall of Our Lady of Lord’s Catholic Church, Christ Rock of Fire Ministry, Wonderful Bible Prayer Ministries, God’s Porch Ministries, and an unnamed Catholic Church Some of the hotels affected are School2bar, Blue Seasons Hotel and Suites, Sulerious Lakeside Hotel, Monero Hotel and Suites, and Lekki Hotel and Suites. 9 DEAD,24 INJURED IN A TWIN BOMB BLAST TODAY IN CAMEROON.

                  Today sunday,it was confirmed that at least nine people were killed and 24 people were wounded in a twin bomb blast in northern Cameroon town of Kolofata.Regional prefect Babila Akaou said the two attacks took place close to the Latin neighbourhood of the twon before 9:00amArmy spokesman Colonel Didier Badjeck,who confirmed the death toll,said an investigation was underway amid diverging reports about whether the attacks were carried out by two teenage boys or two young women.Kolofata lies close to the border with northeast Nigeria and has repeatedly been the target of attacks by Boko Haram.

                            Today sunday,it was confirmed that by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria {NAHCON} has confirmed that three Nigerian pilgrims sustained minor injuries in the crane crash in Mecca's Grand Mosque in Saudi Arabia.The Chairman of the commission,Mallam Abdullahi Muhtar,who made this known at a news conference in Abuja,said that the victims were responding to treatment in the Holy land.Mukhtar,who did not name the victims,however said that two were from Kaduna and one from Gombe.He expressed deep shock over the sad incident but assured that it would not affect this year's exercise in any way.Media report had said that 103 people died and over 200 people were injured in the incident.''On the commission'spart,we have advised the various states pilgrims board not to allow their pilgrims to go close to the Grand Mosque for now.They have adhered strictly to our directive and it is yielding positive results''.Mukhtar also disclosed that 5
