  THEME: Towards fighting the scourge of Human Trafficking and Irregular Migration in Edo State. Yesterday, 9th March, 2021, NAPTIP organized a Town Hall Meeting /Community Dialogue Sessions on Human Trafficking and Irregular Migration in Edo State. In attendance were the @dgnaptip represented by the NAPTIP Director Public Enlightenment Department, Mr. Arinze Orakwue, President and Members of the Catholic Women Organisation (CWO) Holy Cross Cathedral, the President and Members of the Catholic Women Organisation (CWO) St. Peter's Catholic Church Benin, State Director National Orientation Agency, President of Name Foundation, Executive Director, Genius Hub and a representative from Idia Renaissance. The welcome address was delivered by the NAPTIP Benin Zonal Commander, Mrs. Ijeoma Uduak who In her address, commended the efforts of @dgnaptip, Imaan Suleiman Ibrahim in fighting the menace of Human Trafficking and Irregular Migration in the country.More photos below.

  Details of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Funeral were announced today. The service will take place on Saturday 17 April 2021 at 3pm in St George’s Chapel, Windsor. The plans for the funeral are in line with The Duke of Edinburgh's own personal wishes. The occasion will recognise and celebrate The Duke’s life and more than 70 years of service to The Queen, the UK and the Commonwealth. One more photo below.

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike says Peoples Democratic Party stakeholders in the State will meet at the appropriate time and decide his successor. He stated that no one single person has the monopoly to decide where the Governorship position of the party will be zoned to. Governor Wike made the assertion during the grand finale of the PDP local government campaign for the 17 April council election that held at State School 1, Bori, Khana LGA on Saturday. "I don't want to talk about politics of who is from here and who is not from there. At the appropriate time the PDP family will sit down, the leaders of the party will sit down and look at everything together and then take a decision, not one man and even me as a Governor can say this is where we are zoning it to. You cannot say that. It is not your father's property. So nobody should panic. It is not for one man who thinks he owns Rivers State.
